Firstly I want the thank every one who helped me out with my Portfolio. I took a bit of everyones advise and submitted it on Monday.
Well today I got a letter offering me a place in the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Specification). I am so excited that as I was already a student in business I had access to enrol in my classes. So I have done that. I am in. I can not wait to start. I start on the 3rd of March. YAY
Now I just hope I get nominated for a Toby this week end. Fingers crossed. But there are some many fantastic mini artist out there, chances are very slim.

Most of the programs assume you have an undergraduate degree in Art but I got mine in Elementary Education, so I also have been concerned with the portfolio part. You did it! That's awesome!

Wazza Bears AustraliaThanks everyone. This is defiantly a dream come true. I am just so excited and can not wait now till the 3 rd of March. I wasn't sure how they would take my bears as a art form. I was worried they may think of them as too crafty. I also submitted 2 oil painting that I done a while ago. I wrote a really good front page of how I feel when I create, my goals and visions for the future, and hoping they see the potental in my work.
As one of my assessments I have to keep a journal, so I will be using my Blog allot as well as my paper journal. I will try and up date very regularly on what I have been doing and my work I do in class. The first semester I will enjoy doing all of the specification and to see what I want to major and minor in. My choose at the moment is painting and sculpture.
I am just so excited. I did not expect the letter today as I thought they would not send out till the 2nd offer round on the 4 th Feb. So I was jumping up and down when I got it.
Thanks everyone for your suport, it means allot to me as I don't get much from this end. My other half wasn't that excited for me but then he doesn't show his emotion either, so I should just expect that. I was hoping for him to be jumping up and down with me, but instead I got, "thats good" and then went on about his day. Oh well thats life. My kids think its great mums going to school too. hehehe. They were excited for me thats the main thing.
