Feeding is one thing - wait until you have to clean up after them.

SueAnn,
I think maybe the middle one is an Irish Wolfhound?  The other two look too chunky.  My friend had one and it was HUGE!

Yeah, I agree with Irish Wolfhound . . . maybe the white one is a Great Pyrenees?  And maybe the other one is the progeny of the IW and the GP?  bear_smile  bear_smile  bear_tongue  bear_tongue  bear_tongue

Oh boy the cost of feeding these guys would be far more than I could afford and just imagine walking them. I bet they arre hard work on a lead and just imagine if they decided to go for a run...you wouldn't stand a chance!  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin

bear_wub  bear_wub All three are Irish Wolfhounds - also fondly known as the 'gentle giants' and are also the biggest breed in the world. The one in the middle could possibly be a Deer Hound but I'm not sure  bear_ermm

Yep - all wolfies.........Deerhounds are smaller and lighter in build. We've had three wolfies over the years, and they are the gentlest creatures imaginable...........and they are really laid back.  All are  born with the knowledge that couches and beds are provided SOLELY for their use!
Surprisingly, for their huge size, they are not enormous eaters, but boy, do they take up space.........and with their height, their tails can be lethal..........you never leave anything fragile on a coffee table.
GREAT dogs, though......

bear_wub   Yep, all IWs ...probably at various growth stages.  They chunk a bit as they mature.  I've always admired the breed, and could only wish I could have one.  I adored my obedience trainer's stud dog Shamus.  Absolute sweethearts, but the best 'home security' system you could ever want  bear_laugh

Hmmmm . . . I kinda liked my identification theory better.  Thanks, y'all, for clearing up the breed mystery, though.
