fThis past weekend has been unusually warm and sunny for this time of year. We had temps in the 70's, usually in the 50s and rainy. David & I took advantage and went out Motorcycling. Saturday we went about 150 miles with 3 other riders, Sunday about 100 miles with 1 other, and Monday I went alone about 100 miles again. Yesterday, on my birthday, I decided to take his jeep and go to camp......got to see a porcupine on the way, made sure Ti stayed in the car, didn't need him getting porcupine needles in him again! These are some pictures I took as I rode around the Raquette River near the power projects, the sun wasn't shining brightly, but the colors were gorgeous. And, then there is the sunrise this morning......camera not at the ready, but such a gorgeous red sky!
Lovely photos Ellen-lovely colours in the trees

Hi Ellen,
Beautiful pictures - thank you. It was certainly lovely on the weekend, wasn't it! The leaves around Newcastle and Toronto aren't really bright yet, but we drove to the Kawarthas and they were fabulous. Silly me, didn't take the camera! I love this time of year.
hugs,
Brenda
Beautiful pictures, Ellen . . . love the all play, no work philosophy!
Ooooh, what gorgeous colours, and the porkie is absolutely adorable!!! What a birthday treat :bday: :cake:
Oh Ellen your riding makes me sooo jealous. (we left our bike in South Africa) But only 2 months and we can RIDE for a month and a bit    Now planning all sorts of trips. Last one was Cape Town to Pretoria in a day. Some 1600km. I love taking photos off the back of the bike and have some stunning shots of African scenery. OK also have some of my thumb and the back of the man's helmet, but thanks to digital can just chuck those. How are the plans for your Canadian trip coming on?
