OK,
My "young" computer guy talked me into creating a video where I demonstrate how I create a new design; in this case how I designed my cats. I don't mind speaking about my work, but OH, seeing myself on video  The few people who have seen the clip think it's great but not me! I think I look goofy. All of you who have met me at shows already know my "real" self, but do I want the world to know?! Have any other TT members created a video? And how did it go? I'm supposed to put this on my website. I'm thinking, maybe, it's better to be a mystery person  bear_innocent

Awe, Karen just go for it! I'd love to see the video.. I did a sad pathetic little one(s) demo-ing my dollhouse lights......... where I say nothing... and for people who know me, I never stop talking... lololol. That was my first try and I have not done one again.. actually, I had forgotten about it...  I may actually try that again (and even speak) one of these days with some bears. Don't be worry..  I think it's totally normal to be self concious when you are not use to seeing yourself on video! I always feel like an idiot watching myself talk.. thinking.. "omg how can anyone take me seriously"... lol.
here...... http://melbears.blogspot.com/2008/08/do … ights.html  there is my attempt.. heehee. Blah  bear_wacko  bear_wacko

Well  now you have opened a can of worms.... I think it is something in the actual camera... There are little men inside that re arrange the pixles you see.... I look in the mirror and think, "not too bad", believe I behave like a moderately happy confident person. Then the photo's come out and I look like an idiot.... So you see it has nothing to do with the way the world sees you at all

I think we are always very hard on ourselves. Me especially, when it comes to my art and "putting myself out there." You are very brave to do that and I encourage you to go for it! Note my little quote below  bear_original   Vicki

Carolynn, you're absolutely correct!  When I look in the mirror, I think "hey, not bad" and when I look at myself in a picture, YIKES, who is that?

I checked yours out Melanie.  Nice job.  Good for you.

Karen, where's the clip? I couldn't find it on your website. I think it's a terrific idea and I'm sure you're too hard on yourself. I would love to see it.
