In my backyard!
Twas the day before Christmas, hubby and I home, dog underfoot, wherever we go.
Prepare to go to breakfast, out my window I look, and what do I see, but a few ears.
Look through the binoculars and there I do see, 2 deer nestled in the brush.
Hubby took pictures, dog took no notice.
Left for breakfast and continued the day.
Playing in the house, out the window I look, there is a deer eating in the brush,
the other in the neighbor's yard.
Hubby takes pictures, dog goes outside, sits to watch.
Deer stare, dog stares back.
Dog wants to get closer, deer jump away, but not too far,
Hubby took picture of dog watching deer and deer watching dog.

I love the picture with the heads only showing! Were they laying down or is the snow that high? You have a nice dog to sit still and not chase them.

I am about 7 hours from Niagara Falls...............the other side of the state. The Adirondack Park is just south of me (12 miles) and the St. Lawrence River is just North of me (30 miles)
At the time I took the pics, we had about 14inches of snow on the ground.
