Does anyone know how to get nicotine stained Raggety Anns out ?

I would try peroxide but I think that may turn the colored fabrics white...anyone ever use bleach for colored fabrics  or anything else that may work ?.... Winney

I once got a yellowy stain out of a pair of wedding shoes using a mixture of warm water, washing up liquid and a small amount of bleach. It had no affect on the fabric as is was very weak...but got the stain out brilliantly.

They were fabric shoes by the way...!!

I would give Fels-Naptha a try.

I swear by Oxy clean and woolite mixed together and the stained fabric drenched in it rolled up and left of an hour or so and then laundered as usual.

Oh Donna, I bet the Fels would take it out.  I can remember scrubbing grass stains out of the kids baseball uniforms with it.  I'm never without a bar around.
