Wow!  I read a bunch of the comments made by people who had watched the video . . . WILD how diverse the opinions were.  There was a distinct change in the baby's voice/eye contact after her dad(?) started laughing and looked away.  But unless one is a trained child psychologist or some sort of professional in the field, how can we interpret for sure what is happening?  I enjoyed the baby babble immensely and hope this adorable little one grows up to be a happy, well-adjusted adult.  Beautiful!

I love her hands! Notice how she tents her hands as she speaks. In adults that's a sign of a left brain person; logical explanation and thinking. Think of how many great thinkers tent their hands as they speak. I don't think she's imitating, I think she's just unconsciously tenting her hands as she thinks bear_happy and, obviously, speaks!
