just an idea i thought i would run past you. i was thinking of getting 6 artists from different countries to link our sites for i weekend only at the end of november, or begining of december for a special 'worldwide christmas websale '

is there anyone interested. if so then we can discuss how we would like to do this ( i have ideas) to make it a great webshow for us.

i see lots of you have viewed but no comments, if people have no interest it would be good to know why. i thought it would be good to get together and do a web page on each of the countries websites with a link to the otherstaking part in the websale.
be good to know all your thoughts good and bad

HI Susan, I'm one who viewed but didn't reply.
I know that I'm incredibly busy now, even more at Christmas time... I'm finally learning to try not to over extend myself 
It's a really neat idea though 
EJ's CraftsI too have read this but like everyone else, October-January are extremely busy times for me. It is a nice idea though.
Newcastle, OntarioIt IS a good idea, Susan, but ditto what everyone else has said - just a crazy time of year. The other thing to consider is that November/December is not the best time of year for bear sales, traditionally. People are shopping for their family members and there isn't a lot of extra money to buy bears for themselves. There is generally a slowdown in sales at that time of year.

Matilda Huggington-beareI'm also a viewer non replyer. I thought it an excellent idea but have let several shows 'down' lately so didnt want to over extend myself.
I would certainly attend the show if and when you get it up and running. Maybe give people time to mull over the idea before giving up. It is an excellent idea

Bear-Handshi guys thanks for your input and your pm Ellen. i have never done anything like this before and the feedback is great, lots i hadnt thought about maybe it would be an idea to call it something else and plan it for the new year sometime any ideas on when guys?
the aim i thought we be to try and promote collectors bears, paulas show did really well i just thought it may get some interest if a few artists got together preferrably different looking bears so not to tread on toes but to give a varied display of what bears are being created.

Wha't the purpose of this? I mean, from a collectors' point of view, I'd love advance warning of adoption way before Christmas, especially as mail at that time sucks!

the idea i thought would be to bring different artists together in hard times try something different. everyone here is so good with interacting and sharing ideas i thought it may be good to a webshow of maybe 6 people different styles of bears. for collectors i thought it would be great to see a varied styles of bears linked together.
the idea was to maybe have 5 of your bears for sale then link the other artists that are involved in the webshow maybe over a weekend. teddybearsand critters do this all the time but only for Aus & NZ so would be good to involve

i hope that helps Thomas it always good to have collectors views and even ideas, there are so many artists out there all with amazing talents and some of us that are still getting known. hope to have some more feed back guys if its really no interest then i'll leave the idea to rest.
