I just posted a blog update with lots of pictures of our trip to African Lion Safari, last week. It's amazing the places we are willing to take our grandson, that we never took our own kids, when they were small LOL! We got very close to lots of large animals and almost too close to a few. The baboons were entertaining, as they like to dismantle any extra bits on the cars - I'm glad we took the tour bus instead of our new car! If you like animals and have a minute - take a peek.

Brenda it looks like you all had a fun time. I love to see all animals, so it was great to see your photos. I can see Corson is really getting a big boy now, he's grown so much from the last pictures we saw of him.
Hugs, Jane.
Hi Brenda,
Your safari animal picures are really great. My favorites are the lions, all the birds (I love birds) and, of course the baby alpaca was so sweet. Lovely pics of your grandson, also.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Sylvia and Jane! Jane, Corson is growing like a weed - he's outgrown all his school clothes from last year, and this summer he has learned to ride a two wheeled bike, and how to swim properly - no more "llittle" boy!
He's into sports and will be playing ice hockey, winter - where does the time go!!!
hugs,
Brenda
What a wonderful place!Everything looked fascinating, allthough the baboons looked a bit scarey lol! The birds were very cute I'm sure they put on a great show.Glad to hear your family had such a good time!~~~~Sharie
Such fabulous photos, Brenda!! And Corson is so grown-up! I'm with you . . . where does the time go?! Just wanted to emphasize what you said about the apes being rowdy and mischievous around cars that drive through the park. I've been waiting for the right opportunity to post this pic I found awhile back on the internet and this seems to be it.
Great pictures Brenda ! I remember going there in the late 1970's with my parents. I'll never forget those baboons. At the time staff warned people not to drive through if their car had a vinyl exterior roof. Apparently there was something in the glue that the baboons liked. Well, the car in front of us went through anyway and those baboons went crazy .They pulled and stipped that vinyl right off !!
looks like you had a great time, great pics
Sue Ann, that is hilarious (since it's not our car)
Tammy, they really did gravitate to certain cars. We saw several baboons waving windshield wipers as if it were the pize of he day LOL!
hugs,
Brenda

LOL SueAnn, that is funny
Great pictures Brenda and thank you for sharing.
Sue Ann!!
Did you know there is a video clip I think on You Tube of your exact picture?!!!!! It is funny but they really tear up all the clothes however the car occupants don't seem to be too worry about it.
