Some of you may remember that my Greencheeks were laying eggs, well the babies are here their mum & dad hatched 6 of the 7 eggs. The oldest are around 5 weeks old and I have been hand raising them for the past few weeks, they are the sweetest little babies I hope you all enjoy the pics....
How sweet they are....
Being a parrot owner, there is no sweeter face in the world than a baby bird. I would imagine they are tons of work for you, but just sooo darn cute.

OOoooww! How adorable are these babies. I love birds, wish I could
have birds now, but I have two cats....
I used to have birds all the time I miss having them....
These birds are really magnificent, Ann-Marie. The two youngest are just so cute.
But why are the four older ones all huddled together in a corner? Are they begging for food ?
I believe they are very smart animals as well, no ?
You must be a very proud "grandma" !
Hugs,

awww how cute!
Ann-Marie, your babies are gorgeous! Do they make lots of noise? We have baby black cockies around at the moment (wild ones) and boy are they noisy, especially when the parents are feeding them!
Awww how lovely
AWWWWW!!!! They are just lovely
They certainly are alot of work, it has really slowed my bear making down, but I'm really enjoying raising them, they are so adorable and their persoanlities are really begining to come out. One of the older ones has taken to sleeping on his back

Peter, they had just had their feed and were snuggling up to go to sleep. When they want food it is absolute chaos with excited bodies everywhere chirping! They are very smart little birds and have such huge personilties crammed into such a small body.

Linda, they do chirp quite a bit a dinner time but as a species they are rather quiet little birds with a plesant sound.Weget black Cockatoos where we are in the breeding season, and boy are they loud! But I do love their calls, I was woken up early one morning to a family of Black cockatoos feeding their baby right outside my window, what a treat

LOL  You got that right!
When I was a kid, we had a blue budgie which was a decent talker. We also had a miniature schnauzer.
Not only could the bird imitate the doorbell and the telephone well enough to make you come running into the room to answer the door or pick up the phone, only to find nobody there, he could actually call the dog!
The dog's name was "Tyrone" but his play name was "Ty-ty." The bird would call "Ty-ty! Ty-ty!" until the dog came running. Then he would laugh and the dog would just stand there looking up at the bird.
The bird never learned to say, "Pretty Bird" or "Gimme' Cracker" as are the classic things to teach a bird but he sure could imitate sounds well enough to make us kids laugh like crazy!
They are SO cute
- thanks so much for sharing the photos!
