I am in the process of organising a new Teddy Bear Event , After attending Hugglets for years and the TBAE Stratford ( and attending the TBAI in New York which was amazing) I realised there was a definite NEED for a Good Teddy Bear Event in the North of England - So I am planning "The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event" this will be on Sunday 21st November 2010 at the Hilton Holtel Sheffield - The venue is really lovely it is downstairs on the canal quayside and is a self contained suite with one main hall, an entrance hall with 2 smaller rooms - one with suppliers in and maybe one with a workshop in (if I get enough interest). I will also be organising fund raising events on the day in aid of Sheffield Childrens Hospital. So far the response from Artists has been amazing and the bookings are coming in think and fast 
- I cant quite believe it.
I am so excited and enjoying all the planning - the website should be published this weekend

YorkshireOh HUGE hugs to you, you have made my day! I have been so frustrated because I can't make the big shows down South, they are usually on a Sunday so with bad transport links and having to leave early to get back in time to get my daughter ready for school, its alot of travelling for perhaps 2 hours of a show IF I'm lucky. But Sheffield, no problem - fantastic news - eamarked it on the diary - see you there

good news about the interest, always good to see things work, i look forward to seeing the website, dont know if there is a possible way or arrange a competition for people abroad that cant make it, just a thought, or if anyone else has any ideas.
i live in Portugal and have no bear shows here at all, i was luckly enough to save some pennies and get to hugglets last year so for me and others like me it would be great to have along distance interaction with the show.
