Posts: 751I have had a wonderful couple of nights rewatching this super drama from the early seventies.
It was always one of my absolute favourites and I was really thrilled to discover that it had been issued on DVD. Although it was a hit series it was never repeated although I believe it has been shown on one of the SKY channels.
I was a bit wary at first - would it live up to my memories of it, or would it seem very dated. The first three episodes did indeed seem dated but once Stuart Wilson took over as Strauss The Son it was just great - the hour long episodes seemed more like 1/2 an hour.
By the last episode I was crying in my wine glass over the death of Strauss (Jr). I am going to watch them all again before I take the DVD back to the library.
Do any of you have Dramas that really stand out in their memories.
