I had gone on vacation last week in a half, we went to Universal Orlando , I knew they were building the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and was disappointed to find out it won't be open till June. But I did love seeing the Hogwart School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I was in aw when I looked up. Here are some pics I took.

DoodlebearsAs a huge Harry Potter fans, my daughter and I would love to go there once it is open. They have done an amazing job with the buildings, I wonder what they have inside. Thanks so much for sharing you pictures Louise.

The Littlest ThistleWhat a shame it wasn't open yet. I'll be travelling on the 'Harry Potter trainline' (ie, the West Coast of Scotland mainline 
) this weekend. Alas we couldn't get on the steam train this time, but we're going to try later in the year

I live about 15 minutes from Gloucester Cathedral where they filmed some of the Harry Potter scenes in two of his movies the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets....it's an amazing building.....here are some links to photos

EJ's CraftsI have a grandson who works at Universal Orlando. Maybe he can get some inside pictures. He was going to work in that section but he would have to start at the bottom of pay scale again and couldn't afford to do that so he will continue to work in the Marvel comics section. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and couldn't get a job in his field and working for Univeral is the only thing he could find. They don't pay their employees very well and they work lots of odd hours.

Hearts Ease BearsThere are "podcasts " about this place on Adorama camera's website ( and on itunes ) It looks Amazing! I couldnt figure out when they were talking exactly where they were building it! How cool! Memorabilia from the movies is one of the things inside.
My Teddy TalesThere will be two crazy roller coasters,Theres "Zonko's" shop which will have novelty items,jokes and toys."Three Broomsticks" which is a rustic tavern, they will have things like pumkin juice,pints of butter beer. "Ollivanders " a wand shop, they choose a special wand for you or you choose your own. There will be replicas of Harry's wand to purchase. "Dervish and Banges" a there they'll have magical items like, Sneakascopes,Spectrespecs,Ominioculars,Monster book of Monsters,Hogsward uniforms, robes and alot of other things. You'll be able to enter the castle, Dumbledorethe's office, the Defence against the Dark Art classroom,Gryffindors common room, the Room of Requirement and more. Here is a link that shows pics of inside the castle. It's amazing!!!
When you get to the part that shows the different places, click on the castle, it tells you what is there but click on where it says "click here",it shows exactly how it looks inside.
