I've just received my Teddy Bear Review December Issue. This is the first week in October. Does that mean that this is their Holiday issue? Or will the February issue arrive before Christmas? Also their editor, Jessica Franchuk, has left and Carie Ferg is back as editor.

I think perhaps that they pushed this issue forward so they could distribute it at EXPO.  That is my best guess.  We have a new ad rep too.  I wish that they would notify advertisers when changes are being made to the magazine.  I will contact them and suggest that.

February issue ships Dec. 1

Their editorial calendar is actually very similar to most any other magazine. In other words.... waaaaay ahead of the calendar us regular people follow. I can never keep up! LOL! Do they really expect artists to think and plan that far ahead? We're creative, not organized.    (OK, I speak for myself, not everyone, but I know I'm not alone!)

Alison, it would be nice if we got an email introduction to new people.... ad reps and editors. I have a hard time keeping up between the two magazines!

I used to get (way back in the late 20th, early 21st century) a telephone call when either of the magazines had rep changes in its advertising department.  I guess now it's all they can do to keep the print mags afloat - so that kind of personal attention goes down on the priority list.
