Hi everyone,
I would like to introduce to you the latest addition to my hug. This little violin player is called
and he is a French bear, made by a budding young artist called Claudie Reymond.
Léon is approx 11" tall, made from rich very light grey mohair, with subtle shading around the eyes, cheeks and in the ears. He is entirely hand-sewn.
I met Claudie on a French teddy bear forum and I have been following her bear making skills for a few months now. I think she shows a real talent as a bear artist and she keeps on improving her skills.
You can see some of her other work on Teddy Bear Artists and Friends http://www.teddy-bear-artists-and-frien … 0036/info/ and on her weblog http://elloria.canalblog.com/
Since she hasn’t been making bears for very long, so I would appreciate any constructive criticism you can give and I will pass it on to her. I certainly think that Léon is a adorable teddy. Hope you like him too.
Hugs,

I love the way you tell a story with your photos, Peter! Great bear and I agree with Lisaastrup, great collection!
what a beautiful addition. He looks like he will be able to entertain the rest of your bears while you are out of the house
Very generous of you to support new, young artists with lots of potential, Peter. You made a great choice!
Aw...so sweet.
How did that violin/bagpipe concerto sound? (Bears think of the craziest things to do. )

Aww, what a cute little virtuoso, it looks like his talents are appreciated by the whole hug. You'll need to start adding more to the band now
