I am on the look out for new patterns.  I am trying to figure out how to read them.  Any ideas.

I crochet, are you a beginner?
Do you have any books on crochet? I'd be happy to help you out!
Are you looking for a crochet bear, I can look and see about finding a simple one. If you are new then simple is best right just to get the hang of reading instructions.

Crocheting for dummies

Crochet patterns for dummies

Also the "Dummies" site is great to search for something and it will help you with what you ask it for.

These are great tools and I am happy that the "dummies" site has it!

This is also a small book but very very helpful. I have both the dummies book and the crochet answer book

The Crochet Answer Book

Please feel free to ask away! I'll look for a pattern

There are some great forums for people who crochet:

http://www.crochetville.org/forum/
http://www.ravelry.com
http://www.crochetme.com/forums/
http://www.crochethappyforum.com/

You'll find lots of info to help you I'm sure!

The books mentioned above are great too!

I have been chrocheting for ten years now.  I just can't seem to make any sense out of patterns.  When I work, I can't tell someone what stitch I am using beyond a chain stitch.
