IMG_0988.JPGIMG_0985.JPGI've just finished my first red panda, or fire cat as its sometimes known. I will put him on ebay later in the week. I needlefelted the white bits using polyester stuffing as I had no white wool. I used the black backed Sassy long pile so when cut back it shaded very easily. I hope you like it.

Oh Amanda you have done it again....that is soooooo cute.  Red Panda's are pretty much my favourite animal ever - I spent ages watching them at the zoo in Melbourne.  May I ask what his name is??   I shall be keeping my eye on your auction and will not miss the end of this one like I did with Flossie.

I so love your anime style - it's kind of anime but not too anime for me and just so very very cute. (my attempt that I was telling you about is just plain scary!!! - it's a lavendar monster!).   Keep going with these little babies - who can help but fall in love with them.

I'm still crying over missing the end of Flossie's auction and I am ever so impatiently waiting to get to that parcel from you  (3 nore sleeps and I'll have it!)

Amanda... I love red pandas too!  We actually have a pair of them at our local zoo.... for anyone who hasn't seen one up close and personal, they are kind of like raccoons, but with gorgeous cinnamon red coloring.... beautiful animals!  And your interpretation is wonderful Amanda!
