That's a great idea Lisa....I wish I could do it, but his paw is infected, so it can't be covered and has to dry out. Yuck. The vet said it's like athlete's foot for a cat. Ick! We have to put this nasty spray on it every 12 hours, that hurts him.
He keeps giving me these sad pathetic eyes when I put the lampshade on his head.
I don't think I slept at all last night! He always sleeps in our bed, but he can't get up and down with the collar on, then it was up and down the stairs all night. I need to go back to bed after I have a cup of coffee. I don't see how this is going to stay on for 10 days. I'll go crazy!
Awww.....Eliza is such a sweetie! Give her a big hug from me. Tell her Nuhny says thank you and he likes her nose. lol.
Oh I hear you Daphne. I sing to him all the time. I convert regular songs into "cat" songs that are his name in different variations all throughout the song....Oh crap I can't explain it. I'm just crazy.
My cat has a sore and a cut on his paw, so he has to wear an e-collar, which he HATES. I dont' know how I'm going to keep it on him until his paw heals. Anyway - he fell asleep across my sewing table:
So no bears are getting sewn today.
This is the same cat that Lisa Rosenbaum of Oz Matilda painted for me last Christmas (it's in the Gallery). When he went to the vet on Friday they said he was 13 pounds! So he's lost well over 12 pounds since we switched him to all wet food after it was discovered that he was diabetic. I still need to take a full body shot so you can really see the difference.
I see the old way today! Yippie!!!
That makes no sense. Jane your pics are great, and I can't even wrap my head around the thought that someone would complain. Keep doing what you're doing!
I'm sure it will be challenged in court before it can go into effect.
Isn't that awful? They started that a few months ago. It hasn't happened to me, but I keep reading on the ebay message boards that it happens all the time.
This is just totally sucky. I have a lot of ebay collectors who prefer to pay via check or money order. Guess I'll continue to do more website sales and less ebay.
OOOOHHH! Congrats to you! I'm totally jealous!
I buy the economy fiberfill in the 25 lb. box at CRs . . . it costs $54.12. I like the way it stuffs better than the premium.
I've been hooked on the same thing Sue Ann ever since you mentioned it a few years ago. I love it!
I buy mine at CRsCrafts also because I like their stuffing best of any around. I used to be able to get it locally but the store I bought it from stopped carrying it.
I use the same Daphne.
I tried the Morning Glory kind but it feels icky to me, and the bears don't stuff as nicely.
I love CR's as I get the big ginormous box, and they have good prices too.
Shantell you look amazing!!!
He's so adorable Jenn!
I know how you feel in the Ramona heat now...We just moved up to Menifee. Talk about hot!
That earthquake was the strongest I've ever felt after living in CA for 13 years. It was strange as this time I heard it before I felt it. I thought a truck was coming down the street, and even when it started shaking it didn't dawn on me like "Hello! It's an Earthquake Erin!". lol. Jack was standing in my studio talking with me when it started and we both sort of looked at each other and I said "Wow that's a big truck!". Then it really started shaking and the whole house was creaking and he said "it's an earthquake!" and he ran down the stairs, the cats ran, and I was still sort of like "huh?" and freaked out. Then I got up, ran downstairs, and by the time I got to the door it was over. It lasted much longer than usual, and it was much stronger than I hope to ever experience again. We just moved into this house a week ago, so Jack says "well at least we know it can withstand a 5.4". lol.
I was finally able to finish stuffing a few bears, which I've been trying to do for quite a while. Yippie! I'll get caught up eventually. I organized my studio, but I still need to paint, and I'm looking forward to that.
Time for coffee.
Thanks! I really like it here....except for that big earthquake yesterday!
Hi Everyone!
Phew! Does anyone want to unpack some boxes!
Our studios are ***almost*** up and running again in our new home. I'm able to get some stuffing done and my sewing machine is set up. I feel like I haven't sewn in ages - and i hate that feeling! lol.
We have moved about an hour north of where we lived before in San Diego. We are now in a new city called Menifee, which I am really enjoying. It is much more spread out, and I can even hear roosters in the morning. We lived in San Diego for 13 years, and I forgot what crickets sounded like! lol
I hope you all are doing well. This is a pic of the windows of our studios. I love the red tile roof.
Time to stuff!
Hugs,
Erin
