Hi Paula,
Many thanks for having a look in your Teddy Bear Scene Magazine. It was a horrible photo as my
hair looked all messy and taken late one night. The photo I wanted to put in was not large enough.
I look forward to looking at the" Whats new page" and seeing your new Bear- what is his or her name?
Isn't Kathy a very lovely Lady and as you say, so very helpful.
Yes, Teddy Bear Scene is a great magazine and I hope anyone wanting to buy a new Bear mag
will choose TBS.
Thanks again
Bear hugs

It is quite hard to get around the time difference sometimes - I looked at when you posted
your letter afterwards and it was about 8pm and then I realized how silly of me to think that you should be in bed as I thought that it was about 3am - sorry.
The other night we got a text from friends who are in Paris for their honeymoon and my husband had not turned off the cell phone and it beeped about 3am telling us that they were drinking some
nice red wine and eating cheese - so very good of them to wake us up to tell us that.

Very interesting as you say ... killer teddy bears ( how very sad), to toilet paper and then bidets.
What will be the next?
Good to have some time to talk about these very important issues.
Toilet paper is an item that we can not do without. One of the wealthiest Families in NZ
is a toilet paper baron. We are in the wrong profession I reckon.

Thanks Danni and Sue Ann,
Yes, they do have a web-site but only a few items listed so I will have to be patient and wait
until I receive my copy in about a month.
The joys of living on the other side of the world.
. I have been pruning my roses and trimming my lavender hedges
it is such a gogeous day over here so making the most of the nice clear blue day -cold first thing
this morning but you don't mind if a nice day after.
Enjoy your Bear making
Carolyn
Congratulations Millie and Jody for getting your Bears on Bear Paths - well done.
Great work.

Hi to everyone,
Just curious to know if anyone gets the magazine Teddy Bear Scene, (UK magazine)?
I have an article about my Bears in the July issue and gave my Bear Emma to be a prize
in their competition.
As the magazine takes a month to reach the shores of New Zealand, I have not been able to
see it yet. Has anyone seen my article about Draffin Bears?
Please can you let me know if you have.
Thanks, .

Stan is wonderful and I love him in the garden setting! - so colourful.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better and back with us again.
Do any of you feel like you spend a lot of time surfing the net and find that
the time slips away and next thing I should be vacum cleaning the house or
preparing dinner?
I have had one of those days and had better go and get some things done here!
I hope that you are all having a great week.

Hi Louise and Garnet,
Many thanks for adding my site to your links page.
I will email my webmaster and get him to add your site to my website.
As I have been away on holiday I missed this posting and have needed to catch up on what is going on.

Eileen thanks for posting the photo of your daughters wedding - always really neat to look at weddings.
And to music....
I have to skite about a concert we went to in New Plymouth - it was Mark Knopfler (formally Dire Straits)
We were staying at the same hotel and I was lucky enough to shake his hand and we had a pre dinner
drink with Guy Fletcher who was sitting next to us - so that was very exciting and such a brilliant concert!
I play the piano and keyboards and I would like to be in your band. It might be a little hard to get to
band practise though.
Enjoy your week everyone

Carolyn:)
Shari - your little Pookums is adorable and ever so sweet.

Have a good week.

Hi Judi,
Welcome home!
Glad that you had a neat holiday and sorry to hear of the plane delays and the problem with
your credit card. I hope that it all gets sorted. As you say it is terrible that there are unscrupulous
people out there.
Best of luck with your Bears

Thanks to all you lovely Ladies,
Yes, very hard to believe that we had on all our winter woolies and you are over there sweltering
away.
Waiheke Island where we live is actually a whole lot warmer than the South Island so it is not
too bad at the moment.
It is great to be back home and there is no place like home and your own bed!.
Hope that you are all having a relaxing and pleasant weekend.

Hi there,
Honey I'm home! (Remember that dinasour family on the TV)
I have just had a fantastic couple of weeks holiday. The first week I went down to Tauranga to
my parents and last week we stayed in Queenstown ( a fabulous place down the South Island )
We went skiing up the Remarkable Skiifield which was just so neat.
Had some lovely meals out and did all the touristy things - went to Arrowtown an historic gold mining
town which was ever so quaint. Rode up the mountain in a gondola and luged down!
It is now back home to unpacking and washing and all the chores around the house,
so had better get to it.

Hi all,
Your Bears are just so gorgeous SueAnn and the new mohair from Intercal is fabulous.
I especially loved Avalon - I would love to give him a big old cuddle.
I would line up to buy some as I think that they are very interesting colours and make brilliant Bears.
I am off to Tauranga for school holidays for a few days so happy days to you all and
great Bear making.

I was really saddened to hear of the terrorist attack on London and what some people can do to others. Just so hard to believe that there are people out there that could think of such a thing.
It gave us the same sickening feeling, as like September 11th.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and let's hope that these people can be caught and be made
accountable for what they have done.
Also Shelli I was really sorry to hear of your dear kitty Emme, it is never easy and I kow what it is like.
We had a German Shephard Max who had got very old and needed to be put down and was terribly
hard for us all, but the kindest to him in the end.
Peace and love to you all
Sincerely Carolyn
Good on you England - we are really happy for you all and hope that it goes well.
Jaques Chirac complaining about the English food - what a jerk.
I just heard David Beckham on the radio and he has said that it has given him goose bumps
so he is very excited.
All the very best!!

Hi Jane,
I just want to say I love your Japanese Bears - such gorgeous coloured kimonos.
What a fabulous dream.

Hi Clare,
I had some pine boxes made up with sliding lids and I had my logo etched on. They look nice but were
fairly expensive.
The party sounds wonderful and what a lot of fun that would be to meet up with all you wonderful
Bear Ladies and our Bears.
Black tea, green tea, berry zingers or wine I am sure that it would be a lot of fun whatever!.
Best wishes &
Bear Hugs
Carolyn.
