i am just a little further north in west yorkshire this is our marina in the snow you cant quite make out our boat its behind the blue one

this is above the marina going up to the pennine way
0h wow it looks just like the movies we dont have places like that over here in the U K, how many head of cattle do you have, is it hot there ?
oh poor pus ilove to see long hairs having a bath they go down about trhee sizes, iwish i could  here is my friend vera,s puppy
i watched bowling for colombine it was shown on british T V, very scary. I have met many holiday makers over here from various parts of the U S A but i havent met a single one who owned a gun, or at least told me they didnt, so impressions we have of you all carrying tiny guns in your handbags are mad they must come from watching too much T V.
Oh i could just scoop him up and hug him I love puupys little bald pink tummies, does he have a teddy
i live in the U K and just the thought peopl owning hand guns freaks me out
oh for legs that long, SueAnn i would love to get a shot of mac in the water but typical cat by the time youve heard the splash, and dived in to grab a cammera hes out, but i will manage it one day
oh i should love to see vermont please get psting , it sounds so beautiful. when we get mor snow ill post some of the yoreksire moors, we are about 20 minuits drive from Bronte country Wuthering hights and all that
this is mac our next boat neighbours cat. he doesnt look funny untill he falls in the canal, which he does sometimes, he swims around to the end of the boat and climbs out on the rope fender and then jumps back aboard it doesent worry him a bit

hate hate hate with a vengance ironing, dislike all house work, i am trying to train bears to do it but they seam very ressistant to all my coaxing. I do like gardening though
my pet peeve is a bit like the standing so close you can hear them breeth, its people behind you at the supermarket checkout that nudge you with theirv trooly, it isnt as though you can go anywhere you stuck behind the one in front.
thanks so much deb i just went to planet-teddy bear and printed off the polar bear i can get enough from looking at that to design my pattern, it got me past the block. Now all i need is a snowman pattern thanks again  T T F N
can anyone recomend pattern for a polar bear or a snow man.
I have a mentle block and am realy busy so dont want to spend time trying to design them. I am getting ready for a Christmas gift fair, it aids several local charrities. I like to dress my stall this year im going for " deck the halls with bears and holly" I want to have snowmen and polar bears can any one help, please
I guess I have been lucky I have taken bears off the table and held them fir people and they have allways turned up and paid for them, on two occasions they even chose a second bear to go with the one they had put aside. I am too trusting I hadnt even considered being left with the bears
Its just a simple calico square made ito a bag, I print them with stamps I make from lino (like lino cut pictures ) and a multicolour stamp pad
I make my bags it's good free advertising I allso make a Yorkshire passport and birth certificate ;)
I have made afew bears with opne mouths now but none with teeth and not as stylish as the bears shown here, but I have never used a jaw I just stuff carefuly and the stitch to shape. I shall look at trying jaws I might get a better effect

I use plastic eyes that dont have a loop, what I do is make loop of double strong thread arround the eye before i insert it ,and pass the thread through the hole and the saftey washer making sure its in one of the star shaped cut outs, press on the washer and there you have a standard safety eye with a nice strong thread to pull it into shape.
Hope yhat made sense.
Thanks guys glad you like them it nice to get good comments from such a tallented group of bear makers.
I have just bought an electric fret saw to help when I make furniture these are my first attmpts at using it used to use a hand saw
