Hi Eliza
For me it is building up so, so slowly but I feel I will get there. I have to do other bits too, I make and decorate celebration cakes which is also building up but rather slowly. I used to work as a Secretary full time but was meeting myself coming back as I wanted to create bears and cakes and it all got too much and I chose to quit the job. It was such a big step, more so because of the income I left behind and there are times when I think - oh no what have I done, especially when I need to buy (or should I say want!) clothes, shoes and holidays as I just can't do it now, not yet anyway. But most of the time I think the same as Ellen - the fun and freedom make up for the loss of income and I hope maybe a few years down the line I will be in a better position. I hope this is will be the same for you too.
Warm wishes

I am 52 (still feeling 22, where have the years gone). Never mind I console myself with the fact that at 42 I was turfed out of the Liverpool Cavern as I did not look 21 and did not have my ID!! Would you think you ever needed one at 42 and I was with a bunch of work mates, most of who were in their 20s and one at 36. I spoilt the night a bit as everyone really wanted to be in there as it was where the Beatles originated but they all came out with me and we moved on to some other bars that would have me!!.
10 years down the line though I think age has caught up with me a little as I can get anywhere now, bet I could even use a bus pass if I had one! My daughter is 30 next and she was refused some bacardi breezers in the supermarket near where she worked last summer, she has the same trouble!! She will be happy about it later on in life I think.

Thats so funny
Aww, what a cute picture.
I do have my first 3 bears, mum and twin boy and girl cubs, they are horrendous, couldn't sell them if I wanted to and over the last few years they have had every new technique tried on them so they look worse than when they were at first.
I now I am quite sad when each one goes and have to keep a photo of each (I used to keep a tiny scrap of spare fur with the pictures but there got to be too many so I don't do that now)
Also, forgot to mention my husband made his first bear which took him months to finish, March to October last year (from one of my patterns). I cannot ever, ever part with him as I don't think he will make another one. Might post a picture of him (the bear, not the husband) when I get the hang of posting pics.

Hi Kat, we had a similar scene here too in cold Queensbury (West Yorkshire). It is still here though as we are so high up but thawing a bit now. It is a pretty picture though.
Veronica it looks beautiful there in Canada too.
