Congratulations Elaine...good job!
I would like to know what inspires them...
No more dancing with that mop ya hear!
 Oh Clare, I do good just to walk...really! I got my first bike when I was in 7th grade. It was found in a junk yard and was bent in half. Daddy brought it home and straightened it out for me. I was scared to death of it. He said when I wal little he got me a brand new tricycle and I loved it but would not get on it. Never did. I have a picture of my daddy on that tricycle trying to show me that it wouldn't hurt me...no go!
Perfect nose!
Yes, it is fun to get a bear that someone else has made just for you!
Here is my Millie by Nancy...
Isn't she cute. I think she is about 12 or 13 inches tall with pretty green eyes.
Thank you Nancy...
Millie is here safe and sound...as soon as I have a minute to myself I will get a picture of her for all to see...
Thank you so much Nancy...
Hunnie is lovely...congratulations! Hunnie looks like he is happy to be home...
Well, I am self taught too but my opinion is that the nose goes where ever you like it. After all, you are the artist!
Can't wait to see Millie...How exciting!
Hopfully she is on vacation...
My daughter lives very close to her and it has been so very hot! Hopefully she is somewhere cool...
Maybe she is too hot to post! It is really getting warm....
Morgan is wonderful...just right for hugging...
Oh I do worry about the bears in transit! Must be uncomfortable in those boxes...
I can't wait to see more bears...please post pictures everyone...
All plastic joints are not the same...I got some one time that I know would not be safe for children even though they did not state such. I think you can still find them that are safe and strong. I would not use those because of the responsibility if a child was injured.
Did you set the eyes into the fabric? I usually do tie them behind opposite ears...
The news this morning is not so good but I am stilll hoping that little Hope will survive...
She is so cute. I just love her smile...
Hope is lost again!
The curved seams need to be "nipped". If you don't, then when you turn them rightside out the seam bunches up and creates the bumps that you feel.
I'm happy...my bears are happy and I know Lily and Hope are happy too...wonderful day!
Sounds reasonable Joanne...the arms and legs just flow so smoothly from the shoulder and hip...not a big bump like most bears have. You are right about the masterful design...R. John Wright is a master designer. I have seen some of his dolls and they are just great!
They all look so huggable...like they would love to be held and loved!
