Congratulations...what a wonderful moment not only for Noah but for both you and his father. It's always wonderful to see your child excel academically but also a good sportman as well. I would be just beaming with pride!!!
Don't you wonder WHY some people go into the field of education when they obviously dislike it so much. I've had my battles with teachers. My daughter came home to tell me that one of her teachers tied them to their chairs...WHAT!!! I of course asked about it...was told my daughter was a liar...so I showed up at school a few days later...guess what I found...the kids tied to their chairs...guess what teacher wasn't there the next year!!!
WITCH...well that's not exactly the word that comes to mind...
Oh Vicki...I feel so sad for you!!! Is the grinch working in the postal system right now. I'm so sorry this has happened for what was meant to be such a fun activity.

My poor mailman is going to be mugged when he finally STOPS by my house...
Good thing he likes me!!!
All I have to say is all this secrecy is driving me MAD...I'm not sure I can do this again.
I haven't had a complete misfit in sometime but I think this may be one. I've had to sit this one aside...
It's making my head spin. It's all jointed, stuffed (unsewn) and staring at me pathetically...
Oh great...this is cute....
I'm a horse...

Big Congratulations to you!!! I just love babies and when they come in pairs...oh the fun!!!
July 23, 2005...does that make us a bunch of TT old timers!!!
I just finished stuffing the head...turning it was a nightmare. I can hardly wait to turn the legs
I have two more pieces of this fur in different colors. Hopefully I'll come up with a better way of doing this. I can only get 10-12 inch bears out of them so I'm limited to that size or smaller. I was experimenting when I purchased this and I'm glad I didn't buy bigger pieces because I won't buy this particular quality again.
It's not as bad as I thought it would be stuffed so all is not lost but I'm already getting a sore spot on my finger from sewing...HA...this will not be the bear I had planned.
Yep, that's what I did...iron on cotton interfacing...but the woven back is already kinda of thick...UGH.
I recently completed my first synthetic bear using wonderful imported synthetic and just loved the tissavel I used...love love loved it. I'm working on my second but it's from a different manufacturer and the backing is "thicker"...it's woven and doesn't stretch but tends to want to unravel very easily. I've lined it but it just feels way too thick and I'm not at all happy with the way it feels. Any suggestions?
I know we've discussed this stuff before but I can't seem to come up with the right search combination to find the correct post.
I'm almost at the point of just tossing this one and starting over...which just makes me a bit sad.

Thanks
Congrats Dilu!!!!
Now I'm really kicking myself...I FORGET to renew my subscription...my brain is in malfunction mode lately. UGH!!! I'm short circuiting I swear.
Big Apple Dumplings HUGS!!!
Thanks Shelli...Wow our list has grown. I just ran across last years list while office terrorizing.
Woof!!!!
I decided to clean my filing cabinet...the real one not the digital one...my office looks like a tornado hit it.
I think MY personal problem other than visual (referring to eye health) one is I don't really enjoy it. I want to like it but I have to be honest with myself I don't. I think I LIKE getting glue all over myself. Is that sick or what? I like gardening and playing in the dirt too...go figure. I'll just sit back and watch you guy play and enjoy from afar :)

Ah...you know I'm teasing...I'm a big wimp!!! All bark no bite...ask my kids!!!

Shelli....if you were closer to me...I come kick your ASS...I mean booty!!!
Big Show...(meant in a very loving way!!!)

I have come to the realization that I am DDC...digitally design challenged
I shall just leave it to the professionals and cut my losses. Give me scissors & glue and I shall remain forever happy. My computer may look funny but who cares.  It's MY computer.
It's been very cold here as well...30's and lower. We had dusting of snow early in the week...but the killer FREEZING RAIN...nasty stuff.
My youngest son's football team is preparing for the semi-final for the state 5A championships so they have been practicing like mad BULLDOGS!!! He comes home...wet, freezing, muddy and STARVING!!!
My housemate was talking to her niece last night in YUMA, ARIZONA...it had just started to SNOW. HUH? SNOW in YUMA...what's this world coming to.
Oh Tami, I'm so glad you love Eggnog...you know I stressed about her.
This has been a really fun swap. I keep waiting for my mailman to arrive at my door too. I know him personally so he'll say "bear?" and then we'll chat about his new grandbabies while I'm dying to rip open the box. :)
I've been contemplating bribing Tami into telling me WHO has my name but somehow I don't think she's the bribing kind.

I have a piece of 370S/C in Pale Pink 14 x 17 plus a strip from a fat quarter...will that work? If so...it's yours...
I finished mine but I will tell you right now...it's not very Christmasy looking...the person who receives my ornament can just leave it out all year long if they want.
I guess my own personal color choices kinda came out...oops!!!
I'm not a traditional red, green, white kinda christmas person.
I conquered and I won...got my usual stuff (no pun intended) and packed it rock hard...good to go...but I'm using the fluffly lofty light as a fleather stuff for the body and limbs...give this little bruin a nice little cuddly feel along with her little glass bead tummy and she'll be a real snuggler.

Is that grammatically correct? I'm having a senior moment  Anyway...
I recently needed more polyfil and the I brand I normally purchase wasn't available so I purchased something different. It seemed to be great while I finished up legs, arms and a body. However, after stuffing and literally ruining two heads and becoming very frustrated because it kept shifting and distorting I decided that the polyfil just wasn't up to par for the head because it doesn't hold it's too lofty (is that a word).
Anyone run into polyfil that's too lofty even when packed rock hard? This stuff is great for cuddly bodies though.
Now I just HAVE to go back to the craft store...I just HAVE to.
I'm determine to NOT let the family chaos get me down...I've put in the Christmas CD's...turned 'em up LOUD!!!!
Wow...I ditto what has already been said. I think you need a vacation after all of that. Great job!!!
