Dear Sonya,
Many of our members suffer from chronic ailments and it is, in part, what led them here. So we can understand the heartbreak of your suffering. Where there is life there is hope, please don't give up.
I just hope and pray you begin to feel better and enjoy your life once more.
Jane, you dear sweet sister, how lucky Sonya is, to have you in her corner!
Gollyhugs to both of you lovely ladies

   Three cheers Magda!!!
Well done! And if this is your beary first what's next? We shall be expecting great things from you!
If you do upgrade your camera make sure you get one that lets you take super closeups-it will pay off later on down the road when you start wanting to show special detail work you have done.
And the preview of your next creation is when?

Ihave a flat screen and thought your site simply lovely. I'm a sucker for roses anyway, but the only thing missing was the fragrance. Think you can magically add eau de rose? Kidding, hon, its a great site. Good Job!

Oh you ladies are too funny.
Yes Miss Jennifer, we all feel uncreative at one time or another and sometimes at the most inconvient time as well.
When you fix dinner is every one of a 5 star quality? I know mine aren't-infact we are pushing things to even rack up a 2 star meal.
Its the same way with creativity.
I try something new-something I have been interested in but hadn't tried yet. Right now I am playing with sculpting-different, difficult, learning new things and developing an appreciation for sculpture artists.
The other thing I do is shop on e-bay, "ending soonest", for that hit of instant gratification, and usually lace as it is usually cheap and always usable. Sometimes it is piano babies or angels, but usually lace.
Its fun, and its different and yet the same. Quite Buddhist this, both and nonboth.
You'll get over it-something will spark your interest and get you going again, although I do believe Lisa had a point about that chocolate, in fact I think I shall have a wee piece, just for you!

Yes i do believe i am feeling better, hope you are too...
Poor Sarah Jayne....what a time you've had....I hate the way the synthetic goes up your nose.....broken eyes? Haven't had the problem since switching to the U shaped ones.....
But how clever of you gals for saving them-the eery mosaic comes to mind as a use......
or in pictures so that it seems like the eyes are following you......
interesting effect added to a tiling project?
What else could one do with broken bearyeyes?
You'll be swell I think its grand= CONGRATULATIONS
No harm done, and better safe than sorry....can't say I blame you one white, i'd have done the same.....
dilu
Bravo Kathy. Excellent reply.
And isn't expanding and growing part of what makes a real artist and artist?
dilu
Grand Idea, Danni; especially the "Choccy" part!
As it is 6:30 am here, i think its time to start!

May you be blessed with 10 more.
Years, honey, not kids.......

Awwww who cares, someone is always offended about something. Meanwhile your little guy might be the tonic for a bad day that someone is looking for. If he makes one person smile you have done good work for the day.
Go for it! He's funny and fun and adorable.....

Congratulations Katrina,
Now the real work begins, but in the meantime I am so very happy to hear you are home again. It is a blessing for all of us as well as your family that you are doing better.
Feel free to grouse when the recuperation period takes too long, or you feel too much pain, whatever. Nearly all of us have had something bad happen to us, you'll get lots of hugs for sure!

I would say we are all suckers for a happy ending.....I am very happy for you, Jennifer, you must be greatly relieved.
Here's a thought, Shantelli,;
You have clearly and succinctly laid out your case here, so even if she did give you poor feedback nearly everyone will know she is off base, as they will have read your posts here, and alot of us are lucky enough to know the quality and delightful whimsy of your darling bears. I suspect it will do HER more damage to leave you poor feedback than it could ever do you. Your bears are as wonderful as your kind and gentle heart!

A friend sent me this link because I'd not seen it. I am stunned.
Thank you Helen for loving Anna. I am so glad she is fitting in with all your family of fur and fiberfill-(Helen has been on a crusade to populate New Zealand with as many gollies and Teddies as she can!)
I am touched by the comments here, truly, and can only simply say thank you ladies for your very kind words.
dilu
Silly Bear,
what an adorable avatar.....is it by any chance a baby blanket-my first thought, "What a lucky baby" too too cute, well done!
dilu
Shantell, you still have your bear, she renigged on her agreement I would relist. There is no harm in allowing some slack and no foul if she doesn't pay. Personally I think she is an goof for not buying your bear, you make adorably wonderful and HAPPY bears
Dear "Lemonwolf"
You stated;
I don't think they take the bids as seriously on B4B as on Ebay.
I know Nancy T. quite well, as do many of our fellow TT's, and I can assure you and everyone else here at TT that she does indeed take everything about B4B extremely seriously. It is her business, her name, her reputation. I personally have sold many gollies through B4B and had no problems whatsoever!
When we change the "rules" for payment on e-bay or B4B privately between seller and buyer, it is not the responsibility of the management at e-bay or BiB. It then becomes our own mistake and we cannot expect e-bay or B4B to foot the costs for our mistakes. We must be responsible sellers prior to making private arrangements. And if we have to pay selling fees twice we will think twice prior to making private arrangements.
I have made private arrangements in the past and have yet to be stung. But I am aware that it is my responsibility if the buyer then doesn't pay. I am sorry you were stung but this happens when we change the rules.
Please think about these things before making blanket statements that could potentially cause problems. I am hoping you only have the best interests at heart, not only of this situation but the industry in general.
Sincerely and with best wishes and gollyhugs,
Diane
Thank you Louise, for bringing this up, and i always figure that even if I don't know the particulars, well, i don't need to know, God knows and that's what counts.
So lovely lady, whoever you are, the folks at the GollyHouse are praying for your peace and comfort and sending you love.
dilu
Awww Honey,
wishing and praying you don't suffer too much while recuperating. Don't get discouraged, it really will get better, meanwhile, thank heavens for pain medications!
