Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I'm hankering for my very own copy of the TBF magazine with the Face Book which came out recently.  Would any of you U.S. ladies be interested in swapping  for a copy (or two) of Australian Bear Creations mag ??

Yes, I realise that subject title is a bit of an oxy moron, but I ask because Su Lin sold on ebay last night (yay, success finally), she was offered as an OOAK but 2 of the losing bidders have contacted me wanting a panda just like her.

How different does a panda need to be in order not to be deemed the same as the original.  Does just changing the accessories make it different or do the changes need to be more drastic?  I don't want to change the pattern and I suppose I could change the fur (but I quite liked it and I have heaps of it lol)....what are everyone's thoughts?

Interesting subject and one I've often wondered about (not just ending on a holiday weekend but any weekend)  Traditionally I've always listed to end on a Sunday evening...my thinking being that people will most likely be home then and have time to spend bidding on auctions, but another interesting point has been brought up that a lot of people only have access to the internet at work hmmmm something to think about !

Funnily enough and getting back to the original question... my current auction due to finish tonight has done better than my last two ie; I've actually had bids and not just 'watchers' so I think the moral of the story is that ebay is a fickle thing and there are just no hard and fast rules.

I have used sand and also crushed garnet in my bears and have no problem with it escaping.  I do put it inside a stocking toe for the tummy but that is more to keep it in the one place.  For the feet I just pour it in directly.  I find it also gives a more realistic feel to my bears and actually prefer it rather than steel shot or glass beads.  Oh and it's so much cheaper too !!

Glad I'm not the only one this is happening to !  I thought I was doing something wrong, and have spent hours checking out how other artists have listed theirs etc. So ANNOYING !! 

Denise & Sarah Jane I've seen both of your listings and they ARE there so don't worry.

Ahhh a topic close to my heart at the moment!!  I'm so stressed right now with so many changes happening in my life but I find that I go into a peaceful 'zone' when I'm sitting quietly stitching away and I find it's a great way to just let my mind wander and the answers/solutions I might be searching for often come to me whilst making my bears (hmmmm maybe they're talking to me :)
