Well I am sure that Sue Ann will have more than this solution but, this is what I do presented with you problem. I cut a circle, the size of the neck opening, punch a hole in the middle of it  and saw it to the head, leaving a bit open,  enough to insert the jointing disk then I stuff the head and close the opening and the head is ready to joint to the body.

No matter what kind of a day you are having, this is the place to stop by ! I do collect dolls too. Like the realistic looking  and feeling babies. They are my favorite to collect  but, I am not taking them out in a stroller ..! NO WAY!! I do like how they feel in my arms and to change their outfits depending on the Season of the year..when I have the time!!  I do not think I will like to be pocking the dolls eyes out  and that kin of of things , you have to do to reborn a doll. I agree that some people act very weird with the bears too! I "talk" to then but, only in the privacy of my home!
I do not know if I am going to be able to watch the show. I am hoping I can see it on the net.
It is amazing the things people do!.

Hi everyone
Not long ago, the topic of movable eyes lids and how to make them, was a topic on TT and I, like many, did not know the hows,   but, I just came across these eyes and I am going to give it a try. I do not know if they will work with bears but, I am intrigue by the look of the eyes. I thought that you will like to see them.
I'll let you know if they do work...or not.

I am glad that it was not true about Daniel but, like you said, is so sad not the less! All of them are so young, just starting their lifes! The Lord rest his soul and help his love ones go though their pain

I know that here on TT are a few "Harry Potter" books and movies ( PC games too ) fans and I just heard on TV that the actor that portrait him is dead!! I am just hoping is a mistake ! They said he was stabbed in a bar in London.
Does anybody  else knows more?

Hi Judi 
That somebody takes over the show is my hope and wish too :pray:  but, it is true that the S.D. show was smaller for the last couple  of years.  I think that is because the economy, that is not going well but, the love for bears is big and I am sure it will survive, till things gets better.

Krys  I will be very surprised if Linda Mullims gets the shows again. She was enjoying not being in charge and visiting with friends and collectors at the show. She is sad  and will miss the socializing . Let just hope that somebody will want to do it. Like judi said :pray:

Hi Judi No I always have been very shy to show my bears at a show .  :redface: I design and make them for my family, friends and myself but, that was the only show left close enough for me to be able to go and like you said, it is the bears in the "fur" and the people, to be with other designers and collectors. I hope that somebody take it over soon!
I am sorry that I did not meet you on 2006. I would have love to meet you and your bears....Maybe one day...You never know
