Hi All,
I stopped home from work because I forgot my camera, & guess what was in my Mailbox? The cutest little bear and lovely card from Julie Wiggles Bears. I can't stop to take a picture now but will do so before the end of the weekend.
Thank you, Julie!
May your days be Merry & Bright!

I would like to send my humble thanks to Shantell Whitney of Apple Dumpling Bears for the most sweet little bear that arrived this morning. His name is Ginger Bear and only stands 2 1/2'' tall and he will have pride of place on my tree this year. This is my first ever swap and l am so chuffed, l cant wait to do more! l only hope that the bear l posted a week ago lives up to his name too!
Many many thanks

Oh WOW hes lovely! and what a lovely idea to give as a christmas gift to your friend, let us know what she thinks of him My first bear looked like something that had been in a road accident!
l agree with whats been said one here, l made 'larger' bears until l discovered the world of 'mini's', Sassy mohair is just right to start with, maybe a kit would be ideal too as a start
Come and meet Rufus the 4'' Ted. Rufus was hand sewn from scrummy soft sassy mohair and his paw pads are black cashmere fabric, he has 2 6mm black glass eyes and a handmade black glass nose too. Rufus is also fully jointed too!
Thats a very clever idea!
Hi there
l would be most grateful if peeps could say how they store their mohair, l have a pile of mohair in a corner in my workroom and it is ever growing larger by the day !!!!!! and l cant just leave it lying on the floor so l am on the look out for storage ideas and hope some of you can come up with some!
take care

l had a look at your blog and your drawings are lovely!
he's so cute
l love making 'mini's' at the moment and have been inundated with orders for them, l went from making a 30''er to making a 3''er and l know that was a bit extreme, l made my first 'mini', he did turn out quite well but l never made another one until a few months ago when l became addicted to making them! l started with cashmere and now l am expermenting with different fabric's. At the moment l am making a 4''er and l am jointing him with cotter joints, that should be fun
