I have seen a few job lots of bears on ebay, collect only at a reasonable price and they seem to sell. Perhaps do that? I once bought a job lot of Steiff from ebay, sold on all the ones i didnt want and kept the couple that i did want. It worked out good for me as i had the time to sell them on bear by bear.
He is really lovely, his eyes have a lot of expression.
he is lovely

Funny you should say that, i also took a pic of the gate Peter gets under in the garden! Poor Mr Mcgregor
naughty Peter!
Hehe i am sure it was. Thank you
I just got back from a holiday to the Lake District, i went and visited Beatrix Potter's house and just had to post this pic of the little field next to her garden which had several rabbits playing in it. One of the rabbits lopped over to this gate and sat staring as if it could open the gate with just its mind! The little bunny on the right was watching with interest.
We had a lovely day there. The place is beautiful, i wish i had a little haven like that next to my house.
darn, you have talent in all areas! That cake looks fantastic

He is really lovely, if his face was all black he would be a copy of my real dog hehe cute
Aww cute, i like his little pal as well in the second picture.
She has a cheeky little face very cute
Really nice first bear NancyW I kept my first bear too, i made him just over a year ago and have learned so much since then, it is nice to look back and see how far i have come, and in years to come will keep learning all the time. I think that is one of the things that is so fun about bear making, it really is a journey, and a nice one at that.
I use bent nose pliars on my cotter pins to roll them tightly down. I use nut and bolt joints rarely because i prefer the slightly looser effect of the cotter joints.
Looking forward to see your next bear
Nice find! I recently saw one on ebay for about the same price you paid but it didn't have the chest tag. I think you did well
I made this bear for a friend, and finished him last night. I thought i would post a pic of him exploring the garden today!
lol it does look like it is thinking that Us Bears.
It looks photo shopped i'd say.
