I guess I have to answer to the question: How warm is it where you are?????
Here (Palm Beach, Florida) it was cold last week. The Temperature went down to 62 (15 Grad Celsius). At the moment we have 90 (29 Grad Celsius).
I am missing the snow just a bit around the Christmas time. I used to live for 10 years in Ontario (Canada) where we always had plenty of snow and of course a White Christmas.
Enjoy your white stuff!!!

Nice work - eh!
Greetings from an "almost Canadian" (I used to live for 10 years in Ontario).

I thought I would share this with you.
My mom (77 years) is very “crafty”. I think there is not one craft she hasn’t tried in her life time. She still knits, crochets, sews and is in general very bright. Her knitting, crocheting and sewing however is now done on a smaller scale for my little niece’s dolls and bears.
When I visited the Euro-Teddy this year in Germany I stayed with my parents as every year. To thank my parent’s I am always looking for some nice gifts and this time I found a mini bear making kit from Berta (threadteds) at the show. Berta assured me, instructions are in German (mom does not speak English) and everything would be in the package.
So I brought my “gift” home, not knowing what mom would think. She seemed to be quite interested. Next day I went to a book store, where I found another bear making kit for a larger bear which I also bought for mom. Mom got more and more interested.
Then I had to fly home not knowing if these kits would ever become little teddy bears.
Yesterday I called mom and she happily reported that she is on her third teddy making adventure, absolutely loving it . She was planning on a trip to the local craft store to buy some more bear making fabric and to find out what other eyes, etc. she could get. The best is: she was already planning on making her own design!!! Can you believe it?
Unfortunately mom is not a “techie”. Computer, digital camera, and all these wonderful things to share pictures are a “No No” to her, unknown territory. So I will probably have to wait to see the bears until I visit my parents next year.
It will be interesting to see, how many bears mom will have made by this time.

Cute little guy. I like the color choices, something different
Thank you everybody for the positive comments. on my little Ginger cat.

A really nice pice. I love the "old style" look
which will look really nice in a display combined with a teddy bear.

I am not an "expert" in realistic bears but can say: I like him a lot
and he displays lots of character.
