Thank you! I've never had any problems with the ultrasuede wrinkling. It's absolutely the best material out there for these dragons. I use the thinnest ultrasuede I can find, and I've found it's very forgiving. It hides the seams well because it just blends into itself so well. It also stays soft and flexible and fills out really well when stuffed. For this kind of project, at least, it's perfect. I don't know how it would work on something else. These guys are handsewn and average about 4 inches long, from nose to tip of tail.
Hi everyone,
Here's another painted dragon who was given away for Christmas. His wings are meant to look sort of like a leaf changing colors.
Enjoy :)
Thanks, Jenbee! Glad you like them so much!
I made a few dragons as Christmas presents this year, and I wanted to show them off I'll probably be putting them all up over the next few days. This first one is named Aurora. She's an all-white dragon painted with accents that fade from blue to purple.
Thanks, Jenbee! Looks like that link will be really helpful
Hi everyone,
At the end of February, I'll be moving to Scotland. As far as I know, it'll be permanent. I know there are quite a few artists in the UK, and I was wondering if anyone would have any tips or knowledge they could share about how selling works in the UK? Or if anyone would know where I could look some things up? I'm mainly wondering what the rules would be about operating my etsy shop there, VAT, general tax laws, shipping advice, or anything else I might need to know about that I can't think of at the moment? I'm a US citizen, but I have a UK marriage visa, so I'm allowed to work over there.
Also, does anyone have any experience with moving lots of personal possessions over to the UK? I think we've mostly sorted out how we'll get everything over, and it's not like we have to move furniture or anything, but does anyone have any ideas/experience?
Thanks!
Thank you! He was fun to play with

Gingerbread hatched in the kitchen while gingbread cookies were baking. You can read the full story here:

Here's my latest shiny dragon! This is Pearl. She's 4.25 inches long and has a wingspan of 3.25 inches. The shiny/pearly patterning has all been painted on. Like all my other dragons, she is fully posable, though that's not obvious from this set of pictures. You can visit her (and see more pictures) on etsy here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set … c04aad05c7
Thank you!
I'd like you to meet Titan, my first painted dragon to be offered for sale! He was made all blue, then the metallic blue was painted on. He's 4.25 inches long and has a 4-inch wingspan.
Unfortunately, Titan doesn't have a hatching story yet, though he is related to the other dragons. I haven't decided yet whether he hatched next to the blue flame of a gas stove, or whether he's part of a metallic breed of dragons that lives in a very rocky area of the mountains above Cwm Jones. Other dragons stories are here: http://dragonsofcwmjones.blogspot.com/
Titan is on etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/165493747/ … ure-dragon
Aw, he's cute I like making scrappy animals
Here's another new dragon! This is Sunny, a cheery little fella He's 4 inches long, under 1 inch wide (not counting his wings), and has a wingspan of 3.5 inches.
Sunny hatched on a warm day in the sunshine. He also quite likes candy corn. You can read his full story here: http://dragonsofcwmjones.blogspot.com/2 … shine.html

Following on the pumpkin theme, here's Punkin! He is 2 inches long, half an inch tall when on all fours, about 1 1/4 inches tall when standing on his hind legs, and his nose is just under 1/4 of an inch wide. He has a full inner armature, so he's fully posable!
You can visit him on etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/165494653/ … agon-fully
Here he is with his friend, Pum'kin:
There's just something that I like about pumpkins. They're one of the great things about fall Accordingly, I had to make some pumpkin dragons. Linus is the 'big' one (4.5 inches long), and Pum'kin is the micro one (2 inches long).
They are both listed separately on etsy. Linus is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/162408905/ … ling-fully and Pum'kin is here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/162859634/ … agon-fully

I've finally been able to settle down and re-open my etsy shop! Here's one of my newest dragons. His name is Spots He is made of ultrasuede and is fully posable, thanks to a full inner armature of wire, so he's very interactive and playful. He has lovely, green glass eyes. Spots is 4.5 inches long, under 1 inch wide (not counting his wings when folded), and has a wingspan just under 4.5 inches.
