Hi "Thronda".... YES he can move just like a real marionette. Took a lot of working out though! I spent a couple of months creating him. His full name is
"Wish Upon A Star To Be A Real Bear!" Glad you like him!

I have recently finished something very different and would love to know what everyone thinks. This bear is around six inches tall, and is NINE WAY JOINTED! Just like a real marionette! He has a detachable "wooden" nose which is held in place with earth magnets!
Please let me know what you think! Check out more pics at www.mebears.com

Thanks everyone! This is the best I have found - might help other artists too. Lani says some top artists use this white fur - it is a high quality and is selling fast! The pile is 15 to 20 mm long.....just what I was after!!!!! GOOD LUCK to the others following this thread!

Hey everyone... I have spent hours surfing the net for Tissavel and beguim synthetics......where are all the shops that DO supply a plain white in 15 to 20 mm pile length. That is 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch??
PLEASE I am getting quite desperate,
HUGS Wendy xx
Many thanks for that!!!!
This fur sounds great but where do you buy it.....I have googled it and have come up with no shop that sells retail.
PLEASE can any one help??????

Hi everyone! I have been making my little doggies for 12 months now and the belguim synthetic has done the trick. I have been using a mixture of 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch long pile. BUT I have been asked to make a Pom and feel the fur needs to be 1/2 inch long - maybe slightly longer.
I just love this synthetic - it looks and feels like real fur and the pile is woven closely together so when you trim areas shorter you don't see the backing.
Does ANYONE know where I can get this wonderful fur in the 1/2 inch length.......or if this fails is there a wonderfully dense mohair/alpaca in this longer length?? I use white fur and colour with mixture of chalks and acrylics.
My keeshond puppy above is just 4 inches tall.
I hope someone can help soon! HUGS Wendy xxx
Thanks Beary Much Becky!!!

“Roejoe" is a hand sewn miniature doggie constructed with Sassy Fur – his head is disc and cotter pin jointed. He stands just 3cm tall and 7cm from nose to tail tip. He sees through tiny 2mm black onyx bead eyes, his nose is hand embroidered and he is filled with premium polyester fibre and a little steel shot in his belly. Roejoe’s face and body are lightly shaded. He wears a red satin ribbon around his neck and comes with a swing tag authenticating he was made in Australia as a one of a kind. Roejoe would be a wonderfully different miniature dog (silky terrier – like Toto) for your collection. Good Luck and hugs Wendy!
“April" is a hand sewn miniature bunny constructed with so soft cashmere fur – her head is disc and cotter pin jointed. She stands just 5cm tall including her ears. She sees through tiny 2mm black onyx bead eyes, her nose is hand embroidered and she is filled with premium polyester fibre and a little steel shot in her belly. April’s face, ears and body have been lightly shaded. She wears a blue satin ribbon around her neck and comes with a swing tag authenticating she was made in Australia as a one of a kind. April would be a wonderfully different miniature bunny for your collection.

P.S. The shipping on eBay is incorrect it should be $4.35 world wide and that will be corrected in the invoice at the end of the auction.
Thanks Francy! Yes I have made and sold the whole set to some collectors. BUT some only wanted Tin Bear or Lion Bear or just Dorothy Bear! I am making 7 dwarfs as a commission for another collector right now. Good fun!
