Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Hello ! I am very excited to introduce my first antique style bear! He is OOAK "Simon" made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. Simon is 100% hand sewn ( no machine sewing), and made out of gold mohair. he is all ready for Christmas and is just an endearing looking boy! He has German black glass eyes, and hand painted details on his face. Scissor sculpted muzzle, paw and foot pads. Hand stitched black nose and mouth. 5 way cottor pin jointed. Stuffed with polyfil and lots of poly pellets in his belly, and some in his legs and arms for a good sitting bear.

It has been a month now since I made a bear..and he is my first antique style bear..hope you like him!

Hello! I am so excited to introduce Maxwell! Maxwell is a One of a Kind bear, made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. Maxwell is 18" and 100% hand sewn. He is made out of wonderful long pile light brown faux fur with dark brown backing. He has been extensively scissor sculpted on his face, inner ears, paw and footpads. he has green glass eyes with suede behind them, that have been hand shaded. He has a hand sculpted clay brown clay nose (I do not use molds), and stitched fingers and toes. He is stuffed with poly fill and lots of poly pellets in his feet, arms and belly for a really good weight. 5 way cotter pin jointed. Adorned with a single polyester fall leaf necklace.

I am so excited about this boy...he will be going on ebay Friday evening

I am so excited to introduce Murray!

Murray is a One of a Kind bear made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. He is a fun filled boy with lots of wonder in his eyes! Murray is 18" from head to toe and is 100% hand sewn.

Murray is made out of wonderful long soft white plush. He has blue glass eyes with hand shaded details on his face. He has been scissor sculpted on his face and inner ears. He has stitched toes on his paw and foot pads. His nose is hand sculpted out of clay ( I do not use molds). Stuffed well with fiber fil and a lot of poly pellets which gives him a good weight.

I am on a white bear kick... and he is the last for a bit !

I am so excited to introduce Jethroe!

Jethroe is a One of a Kind bear made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears.

Jethroe is 17" from head to foot, and made out of long soft white faux fur. He is 100% hand sewn, and has wonderful green glass eyes with a darling expression.

He has a hand sculpted black epoxy clay nose ( I do not use molds), with hand shaded detail on his face. He has been extensively scissor sculpted on his face, and paw pads. Stitched fingers and toes, 5 way jointed, and stuffed with polyfil and poly pellets for a nice weight. Adorned with a green beaded necklace to compliment those eyes!

I had a wonderful time making him! Hope you enjoy him too!

I am so excited to introduce Muraco! Muraco is a one of a kind bear made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. Muraco means "White Moon" in Native American Indian.

Muraco is 17" from head to foot, and made out of long soft white faux fur. he is 100% hand sewn, and has wonderful blue glass eyes with an intense look. He is all ready for snow!

He has a hand sculpted apoxy clay nose ( I do not use molds), with hand shaded detail on his face. He has been extensively scissor sculpted on his face, paw and foot pads. Stitched fingers and toes, 5 way jointed, and stuffed with polyfil and poly pellets for a nice weight. Adorned with silver and blue bell collar.

I do not use molds.  He has rust ultra suede paw and foot pads, and is 5 way jointed. Stuffed with polyfil and polly pellets for a good feel. Adorned with a black collar.

I am excited about the new direction I am going with the look of my bears...as Bruno is a protoype of sorts!

He has hand painted gold glass eyes with white suede and leather cord lids. Hand stitched nose, and hand shaded details on face and ears. He has black soft leather paw and foot pads. He is fully jointed and stuffed with polyfil and polly pellets.

I worked on him all day...and have another bear done today out of the same fur... but a new look! he is coming next!

It gives me great pleasure to introduce Louie! Louie is a One of a Kind bear, made by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. Louie was inspired as a little brother bear to his adopted brother Dewey. I modified my pattern to make him a bit smaller. Louie is 16 1/2 inches head to toe, completely hand sewn and made out of wonderful super soft dense brown plush with black hairs. He has ultra suede paw and foot pads, black German glass eyes, hand shaded details, and hand sculpted clay nose. Stuffed with polyfil and a good amount of polly pellets in his paws, feet, and belly which gives him a nice weight and great sitting poses. He is available on Bear Pile and will be finding his way to ebay soon.....thanks for looking at Louie!!!

Finn has a hand sculpted clay nose, big black German glass eyes with leather lids, and hand shaded details. He is 5 way jointed and stuffed with polyfil and polly pellets for a nice weight. I am so excited to introduce you to Baby Dewey! He was made from my brand new pattern I designed this past weekend. After much love, time, and patience....out came Dewey! I hope you like him too

He is a One of a Kind bear,18" Made out of wonderful blended brown and black plush. 5 way jointed,with ultra suede paw and foot pads and inner ears. Hand stitched black pearl cotton nose and mouth. Completely hand sewn, Black German glass eyes with lids. Scissor sculpted face, hand shaded detail, stuffed with polyfil and poly pellets.....!

I am so thrilled to have made now my 5th bear so quickly!!!!
