She is a wonderful kitten! Good luck!
Heidi, you did wonderful feet and hands! did you make them with fimo? I see that paws are beautifully needle felted. Well done!
All 4 bunnies are wonderful. I expecially like Rascal!
Jo, I really love this series of yours. It is very different from your porcelain face and needle felted face styles, but they are all lovely!

Yes, the face is needlefelted, and I made both his claws and nose with Fimo. I must say that this site is wonderful. I didn't know a thing about making and attaching noses and claws with Fimo and everything was available here. Thanks to all those gifted and generous artists that share their knowledge so freely. This is really a very special world!
Thank you Pink, you make me blush...
Thanks Eddy!
Hello,
I've been working quite hard on this new bear of mine. a real challenge because I wanted him to have some realistic details that I never made before...this is the result, I hope you like him!
She is beautiful, I love her eyes!
I always use fray stop with mohair, but only in the areas where the pieces openings are, to stop any fraying when stuffing. Also if I have small pieces that need to keep their shape better for a precise fit, for example if I make paw pads with mohair instead of suede, or in the head gusset area. I sew by hand, so maybe that makes a difference, I don't know!
Now that I have read these posts, I got curious about Tissavel fur...maybe I should give it a try.....
What a wonderful bear!
I used the same technique when I wanted the teddy fur to 'blend' gradually into the needlefelted muzzle that was a contrasting color. I mixed the mohair hair with the muzzle wool, and the result was very good and natural.
It's interesting how we get to to the same things independently from each other!
