Dilu is a master encourager, and she has a lot of talent, more than she will own up to. She's humble in spirit and kind in nature. (Who else would actually post that pigbearmonkey thing again just to encourage someone?) But I laugh every time I see it, and sometimes a laugh is what I need to muster up the energy to do that one seam or whatever that I have time for between work/dinner/dishes/laundry and bed. I just love that.

Jenn ~ Try not to be too discouraged. Teaching yourself to make teddy bears is more of an evolution <I think> than anything else. I don't think any of mine have turned out exactly as planned either. Keep at it.
Dear Canadian Friends ~
Happy Thanksgiving Day! :rose:
Kim ~ Yes we did. But I have to work today ... and I'm LATE!
Dear Mohair Dyeing People,
If I wet mohair and spray dye on, or airbrush on ... can I get a "tipped" affect?
Laura ~
William is adorable. I can't get over (like the others) how different these bears all look from the same pattern. Has to be in the genes, and not the "basic" pattern.
She's cute Matilda. I keep looking, but I don't see any glaringly obvious mistakes.
Melissa ~ They're adorable. Lots to be proud of.
Jane ~ Go here and search for cherub http://www.justjellycat.co.uk/default.a … check=yes&
Great selection too at where else ... Sears.
Thanks for sharing pics Jenn.
Well Jenn, how 'bout pics of your reds! It is a great breed ... so loveable and just a smidge
Jenn ~ How about Lisa Pay? Or Mary H_ _ _ ... (somebody help me).
I held two mini-doxies yesterday. Brother and sister, black and tan, short hair. Adorable! We have a doxie mix (you should have taken the pup home Shelli). She's a WONDERFUL dog. Hubby wants long hair, red doxie though, not the black/tan short hair variety. :/
So I'll wait.
Too many to have a favorite. I've purchased several of End Pieces and Bargain list to try. I ordered the samples, put them in photograph pockets, and then into a couple of large binders.
P.S. Hey thanks SueAnn, hadn't ever clicked on that link before. Very helpful.
I believe Schulte and Hembold are companies. Not really sure what is mean by English style, unless it refers to mohairs now made by another company but is like what the English company Norton used to produce. That's what I was kinda wondering in my post Mohair Confusion, cuz I really liked the Norton stuff.
Gosh Denise, that pic is pretty good for pattern shape if you could find a full pic showing legs. I am using some pics off the web as guides for my polar bear pattern I'm working on. Anyway, he's a cutie.
That one looks like he has a collar. Do people make pets of them? Cute little fella. Make one of mohair!
I'm not Shelli- just nosey

:P
Well thank God! I mean, we already have a Shelli, and we need a Dilu, so it's very good you're Dilu and not another Shelli. By the way ... everyone has been missing you a lot. Hope your project is going well so you don't have to depart again for so long.
Oh Shantell ~ I've been fighting beginners eyelid curse myself. Have struggled for a week with this bear and finally, am approaching a good end. I used a toothpick to flake off the white stuff ... chewed it a little first. Figured it would be better than digging with a needle.
Oh Melissa, I remember we used to have "fizzies" that were little discs that you plopped in a glass of water and it made bubbles and flavored the water. Not truly carbonated, but lots of fun and a special treat. I like Dr. Pepper too, but don't care for the new vanilla cherry flavor. Too sweet. I'm old enough to also remember Nehi softdrinks. Yum ... grape (like Radar on M*A*S*H*).
Just curious SueAnn ~ is there any mohair you haven't tried?
My question/confusion I guess was whether or not selection would be reduced, etc. And I guess I don't need all these Norton samples I have. Well, not for ordering anyway.
Way to go Lynne!
Oh Judi, he's cute! Canada at Epcot is one of my favorites. Love that song ... Canada, My Canada. I get it stuck in my head and hum for hours. I can't watch the 360 movie though. Ugh. Upset tummy and headache. I just go in and listen!
Oh I agree. Actually, when the Intercal package arrives ... now that's fun!
