  CONGRATS TO YOU NANCY, I have always admired your bears and your dedication to TT and all the other bear things you do not alone work a job that is complicated and time comsuming, I do not know where you get the energy. I myself have a daughter that has been a police officer for the Norfolk Southern RR for 15 years, It makes me nervous at times but she had a good head on her shoulders. So I understand a little of what you go thru, she is always going away for classes and refresher courses, it is amazing, and she has family to care for also.
But not to take away from your wonderful new aspect of the job, Good Luck!
 Oh, Paula, they are so beautiful, the colors are so vibrant, I love your style of bears, I always know they are yours. Exceptional talent. Keep up the great work.
Before I decided to make bears, I painted wooden things, clothes pins for one, make bag ladies, tin punch, made stuffed hearts, and dammitt dolls, I sold at craft shows and such. Then I got interested in the bears and now all my crafts that were finished are in storage, just sitting there. Maybe someday I will sell them at a show.
I also chrochet, sew, lots of crafty things. But bears it is so thats it for now. Also working full time puts a damper on things, there is never enough time in the day to do the things we all want to do, but at least we keep doin!
 Welcom to TT its a great place to learn, laugh, cry, and see some of the greatest bears from so much talent. Your second bear is great, I think you have it mastered. As for the photo, I have not done that yet, my granddaughter does it for me. lol
Enjoy your day!
 i first picked 3 Lemon Meringue Pie, mainly because it reminds me of my Mother, but my real favorite was carrot cake and that describes me to a T
It was a good quiz, thanx
  Wonderful aticle Sue Ann, I enjoyed reading about your life and how you got into the bears. But the rooster is fabulous! I have never seen that one before, just fantastic. You deserve all the kind words you get!
Being a cat lover, I found the pictures funny then very sad as to the way the cats must have felt. Very tramatized.
 WOW, what great bears Judi, and what an honor. I think you did a wonderful job and deserve much praise. You are a credit to the bear artists of the world, your work is impeckable!! CONGRATS...
Same to you Jane, Thanx!
I have made pincushions using plastic pellets, also sand is good and yes it does keep the pins sharp, but I have also had ones that had fiber fill in them. The choice is yours.
Thanx, Jane you too!
Thanx, Jane you too!
  So glad to hear she is on her way to recovery, she is so cute, I loved the picture with her little cast. With all the good love she is getting from you and all our prayers, she can't miss. Best of luck with the the next few days. I can see you holding her so she can pee lol, but you do what you have to do to help these little special people out.
take care and kisses to tiffini! xoxoxo
 My prayers go out to you and sweet Tiffani, she is so sweet. I am sure things will be okay, but as you said the next 6 weeks will be a test. Trying to keep a pet still is so hard. But you will do it Tami, I know you will. Our prayers will get you thru.
Hey Paula what a great article, it seems to be quite long, and I am sure thay had nothing but nice things to say about you and the wonderfule bears. Each one was better than the next, so I would say the bears say it all.
   That is simply the best reproduction I have ever seen, Just like those little creatures, I love it and you are so talented to be able to create it.
I can not say enough! Great, Wonderful, Fabulous, Perfection, etc. etc. etc.
  I love that little chipmunk, he is so cute and look how he stuffs that peanut into his pouch. SO CUTE!!! I watch the blue jays do the same think in my yard. I do not have any chipmunks.
Lisa, I love the witch and the ears are quite in line with the eyes and make the bear, along with the color! I am 10-2, stuck in a rut I guess, maybe I should try a little different and see what happens. Take care!
 Great work Frank, the handbags are just the best not to mention the brears and hares. Talented man you are, that must be where Daphne gets the gene from. Keep up the great work, would love to see some more.
Thanx to you Daphne for showing us the goods!
Hi, go into the index above in the library and go to real fur, there are a lot of questions and answers there, perhaps it will give you some insite as to what you are up against. I line with muslin and use glue sticks, it works but if the pelts are stiff it is hard to turn the completed items. I made one from black seal fur, it came out okay but the bear seems a little stiff. I would try the library. Good Luck with your project!
   That was hysterical, great story. I was laughing out loud at work.
How about Lisa Thoms on the cover of TBR, got it yesterday and the article is great, congrats to you Lisa!
  great fun and yes it is driving me crazy, but I keep trying.
thanx for the entertainment!
Thanx so much Lynn, hope yours is wonderful also.
  I am giving you a big nudge, I had collected a lot of coats also, but the only ones i kept were a full length mink, a silver fox, a childrens white rabbit, and a black seal. they take up too much space. I did make a bear from the black seal, so soft, but the pelts make it stiff. so you better get making those bears from all those coats.
