Awesome!! Good luck!!
I totally agree In a few categories I could really vote for almost each one in that category.
Vote now in URSA 2013!! These are my entries in catagory 1 and 3 in URSA 2013: Knit-Teds
Voting in Round 1 determines the top winners in each category.

If you like to go directly to Category 1 because you know about the voting procedure, here is the link:

You don`t have to vote all at one time. The computer will keep track of which categories you voted previously.
To make it easy, cast your vote AND then NOT close the voting page window as it takes you back to the beginning, but instead use the tab open-links or arrows-back to the category page.
Use the "Next Category" arrow at the bottom of each page to advance. There are 17 categories to vote, one vote in each category.
There are so many wonderful entries, it is worth to visit and please don`t forget to vote!!
Thank you so much and good luck to everyone who entered!!!

Today is the day.............. all Teddy Bears come together for Teddy`s Bear picnic..
Today is the day that you can see the preview from the wonderful bears which will be offered during the Teddies World Wide On-line show June 28-30 2013 !!
I am happy to join the show in the miniature category. I have worked hard and proud of the pieces I am going to offer..a few need a last hand...
My preview piece is finished.. it is little Teddy (above picture). not sewn, not crocheted, but knitted !!
Teddy is a real heirloom piece for years to enjoy. He is only 7 cm tall and 5 way jointed. Teddy is sitting on a grass circle, holding his cup, as the picnic soon begins. And who would think that you can turn the circle (to wind up the music box which I embedded in the linen. custom printed and sewn, block) and the famous song of Teddy`s Bear Picnic will play, while Teddy is turning and dreaming away, and later bring back memories of his most beautiful Teddy`s Bear Picnic day..
If you like Teddy, please cast your vote at http://www.teddiesworldwide.com/ Please read on the site how to cast your votes.
Thanks so much!!
Berta
Thanks you Jenny and Castalia. I work on another Knit-ted, same pattern but knitted on needle 1.00 mm. One arm and ears to go.. I enjoy to be back to knitting again!
Berta
Thanks so much everyone!! !! I am glad you like them
Knitting is not new for me, years and years (yes, that long) ago, wen my kids were small, I had a knitting home-Business and also knitted on request for a local yarn shop. It was mostly wearable items for adults and children I knitted at that time.
So much more fun it was to design and knit this BEAR !!
It took a while to get the right bear shape with increasing, decreasing, short rows and so on (I wrote down each stitch and row), Finally... here he is..
KNIT-TED!!
The little Bunny Toy, also in the picture, I knitted form hand dyed cotton thread. More pictures on my Blog: http://threadteds.blogspot.com
The first ThReAdTeDs® knitted Collectibles I am totally pleased with and offer for sale soon. First they will travel to me to my next shows, I hope they will be loved
Berta
Thank you for explaining
I'm just expressing my disgust for that kind of behavior.

Just using words to make the point stronger. Like a figure of speech.
Maybe another word to describe is; "experienced" gang thief's ? English not being my (and think also not Sabine`s) native language it is difficult to find the correct word and always willing to learn. What I mean is that these people do steal for living, and really know the tricks how to do this, because they did it many times
that the same group of people, who stole our purse during the show in Wiesbaden (I posted about it in the next thread: http://www.teddy-talk.com/viewtopic.php?id=48637), also went to the Teddy Bär Total Show last Sunday in Münster
I was shocked.. my husband warned the Organisation, who took it very serious and continue watched them. They soon noted they were recognized and watched and left the building.
I am sure this group of people is making their living with stealing..very sad. We learned a lot from the bad experience in Wiesbaden and were prepared
I like to sent out a warning to all who do participate on shows or visit a show, as I think you can come across similar situations everywhere
The Teddy Bär Total show was GREAT!! Many International participants, many visitors. I brought my camera but didn`t get the time to go around and make pictures. Next year we sure will be back !
Berta
Thank you Becky!! The little grey Eli is my favorite too
Thank you Lisa! I enjoyed very much bringing them to life.
She is lovely!! How big is she?
Berta
Thanks so much Denise!!
Prototypes made for the new ThReAdTeDs® pattern. The big Elephant is crocheted from Chenille and 7 inches tall..the trunk is wired. The little one is crocheted from thin sock wool and 4 inches tall.
Congratulations on your well deserved award Berta! That is so awful to have your purse stolen. For many years now I have worn a small leather shoulder bag purse slung across my body when doing shows. It is flat, easy to get into and has just two compartments with closures - one zipper and one snap. It works really well and keeps my money safe.
Thank you Edie!! We sure will watch better next time, and I take all the safety tips I receive
Berta
Thanks so much!! I enjoy so much making these..wish I had more time.. but guess you all do
