Hello! I am thrilled to introduce "Snow Belle" who was born on the Fourth of July! Snow Belle is a one of a kind bear created by me, Lori Ann Gorton of Blue Sky Bears. She is only my fourth bear..and my very first girl! She is completely hand sewn. She is 16" and made out of wonderful thick flowing white faux fur. She has ultra suede cream foot pads and inner ears. She is fully jointed, hand sculpted clay nose, German black glass eyes with lids, hand stitched mouth and hand shaded details. Stuffed with polyfil and poly pellets in paws, feet and belly for a nice weight. Adorned with a lilac bow in her hair and woven beaded necklace. She also comes with a swing tag signed and dated. A happy summer girl with a winter crisp name! I have also posted her on Bear Pile and will be listing her ( I think) on ebay! Would appreciate any feedback..I am still really new at this and so thrilled to a part of the bear making world. Thanks so much for looking at my girl!
Thank you Tami! I am so very excited to venture into bear making! I love black bears ..and it is obvious!
HELLLOOOOO Everyone!
Well I FINALLY got another bear done!!! It was a long time coming..so busy with my boys and school!
I am very excited to finally introduce Clyde! He is an OOAK made of my own pattern ( yes I love black bears... ) He is 17" and made of luxurious long pile shiny black faux fur. He was completely hand sewn by me ( some thing I never thought I would do )
. He is 5 way jointed, with wonderful blue doll eyes, leather eyelids, hand sculpted clay nose, stitched mouth, and scissor sculpted face. He is stuffed with polyfil and polly pellets in his tummy and paws for a nice added weight.
I am so excited to get going again and will be planning to make more soon! He is also listed on Bear Pile too!

HHHEEELLLOOO to all! My name is Lori Gorton and I am a brand new artist.....this is my very first bear out of my own pattern and style.
. I have been wanting to make bears for a while...and I am finally getting it going! THANK YOU to ALL who have been such a great support and help to me..you KNOW who you are!
This is "Bandit". He is 16" and I made him out of black denim...( I have no idea why I chose this material for a first bear...I don't know when I will do it again!). I am a big fan of black bears even though they are so hard to photograph. He has a black leather muzzle, hand painted gold glitter glass eyes, 5 way jointed (cotter pins), and stuffed with fiber fil and lots of plastic pellets for a great weight. Bandits nose and eyelids are hand clay molded( I always liked clay). His nose is gloss painted, and his mouth also has handpainted detailing. I had a blast making him! ( a LONG time coming after moving and being so busy with my boys! ). I am so so happy to finally get my very first bear done. I only sewed one other time in my life....and that was 2 months ago when I made a bear out of my friends pattern. THANK YOU FOR TEACHING ME!! So Bandit is my very first Blue Sky Bear! Comments/suggestions/helpful hints I will surely appreciate it! A very happy new bear artist...Lori
