I'm looking for something that's not really halloween related, but it tends to come out at this time...those old victorian/antique moon face postcards and stuff...that sepia toned moon face. let me know if you stumble across...I've been searching

Better save those boxes ...I saw an old box that displayed candy bars in the 40's , 50's and it was bringing big bucks on E=Bay.
See!!! I know..my mom's grandmother owned a grocery store in Philly way back when and my mom's always saying "wow, if we had kept the boxes, the crates, the junk that stuff was stored in.....wow, ebay millionaires"

Ah yes. Teenage mutant ninja turtles. Justin had those too. I sold those at a garage sale too. I know I'll be kicking myself in another 20 years when they're running $500 a piece on ebay. :(
This is why my studio and home are a mess...it's Ebay's fault!! We're all afarid to toss out the cr*p becuase it might be worth $$$$ on ebay someday

A horrid Halloween? Here's my story: I was eight and dressed as Casper the freindly ghost. I fell down at the end of our walkway at the onset of trick-or-treating. Blood everywhere on Casper. Wasn't allowed to trick-or-treat after that. Is that nuts or what? My parents were sort of wierd.

Oh , that is sad...you weren't allowed because you were hurt, or becuase Casper got bloody. It was halloween and all.

Oh, we still have all of them too...that and Heman. That was the worst part of this dress up nightmare...I was a total tomboy in this horrid puff of a white hat and yellow dress
The next fuzzy slipper night is going to be at my house. I need all of you to come and arrange the furniture in my workroom so I can function. That was my project tonight before I ended up here. I still have to get back to it because I have a bear club meeting here tomorrow... 2 new women have joined us, we haven't met in 4 months and everyone is going to want "IN" to my room so see what's new! It's a safety hazard at the moment! I need HELP!
Can't be worse than mine....I put TOO much in there when I first moved in...I wanted it to be all Mary Engelbriet (sp??) and now it's M.E. all along the edges and a mess in the middle

Aigh yeah....but we see the pictures now and I crack up.... I look miserable in the pics and that makes it even funnier...
I apparently should wear a costume to the Banquet at Schaumburg in October... I HATE costumes. Mom dressed me up as little red ridinghood when I was about 6. My grandmother made some snide comment that had me so embarrassssed (hm..... that tequila is working!) that I wouldn't leave the house. Never dressed up again!
So what should I be?

Ok, I so have you beat....I was 12...12 years old and my mom made me enter a Strawberry shortcake contest with my 2 sisters!! I was flippin Lemon Meringue sitting with 2 little sisters dressed as Strawberry shortcake and blueberry muffin..in the middle of town on a stage with like 100 people watching. Scarred for life I tell you
I googled poker halloween costumes and this is the only one came up that I could see.... :crackup:

ewww.. I LOVE Halloween parties.. I go nuts with costumes. WE did one at work 2 years ago (hub and I worked together)...we were Fred and Velma from Scooby doo...we brought the beagle in dressed like Scooby
