Julia.
My smallest bear is 10 cm, and my daughter love it.
But I tend to create really big bear 27-32 inch. Just finish my black bear-girl...
Thanks for the tips
Hug, Julia.
Oh, just found this topic!! thank you for advise. I'm surely going to use it.
Hugs
Julia
I stuffed one of my bear with beans in a soft plastic bag. Bag gave a bear funny sound. My liitle daughter love it.
Once I put decorative small rocks for home plant inside. What a heavy bear I've got!!:lol:
I like to use glass beads I have in stock. I love beading as well. If you going to embroide the area you filled with beads be carefull cause needle gets into a hole in a bead. Just take extra time. :/
That's my experiments.
Hugs, Julia
I have a little problem. I'm designing a bear with laaarge foot. It will be a girl. Very small. 9-11 inch. So I think she'll have a slim hips. Do I made myself clear? It's hard to explain thoughts in the head (espessually in my head, espessually in foreign language:( . )
Is there any propotion or you just use imagination. I use imagination but it need some professional touch.
Charming little bear! I love teddies with button suit. I have to do one myself some day.
Marie, you are lucky indeed. Wonderful site, best friend:) and cute bears. (Pearl is the one I like most!)
Julia

Danni, thanks, but I know my English had better days.... when I lived in Tacoma, WA. Now I'm like a dog..understand everything, but don't speak. Some practice maybe would help..;)
I'm not sure about my "cleaverness". My husband says, I'd better go study economics, rather then sew bears!
Jane!!! Your Russian is perfect!! Спасибо. (Thanks). I was studing forum's lessons on bear-making and decided to improve my English as well.:):):)

Thanks Marie. Nice to hear from the closest bearmaker.:):) My city is much closer to Japan rather than to Moscow:D We don't have Japanese mohair over here. All bear's stuff my husband is buying for me in Tokyo (The Teddy Bear Shop). I would loooooove to try Intercatlg mohair! Such a variety of colors, types!!! But I'm not sure about delivery and payment method.:(
