Chrissie, I am thinking about all of you people in that area every day! This has just been a terrible year for hurricanes. Take care of yourself and I sure hope that this one passes by without too much damage. Shouldn't hurricane season be over soon?

Poor Misty, her legs must really bother her. Dusty has arthritis as well, I have a box with a blanket in for her on the cutting table and another one by the computer but she doesn't even try to jump into them any more. She just hollers at me until I pick her up and put her in her box. The things that you have to do for the elderly!

All of the pictures are great!! I am usually too busy pushing Dusty out of the way to take any really cute pictures but maybe I should. My right hand man (cat?) is 19 years old and still has to make every move that I do.

Hi Mel!  Welcome to the board. Your bears are all adorable! I don't know which one I like the best, at first I thought the little panda because she is so sweet but then when I look at them all again, I think I like the two with the little teddy bears the best because they have such attitude.

Judi, he is absolutely amazing!!!! He is not only a work of art, he is adorable. I would vote for him in a minute. You are so talented!!!!!

Deb, that is exactly what happens and then the next time that person sees a listing by Terrie's Bears they will think it could be another scam.

Sue Ann, that is terrible! I don't know how you can fight something like that!

That is a great idea Laura Lynn, I agree, sometimes the simpler the better!

Judi, they just used my information. I still had the bear in my posession because my listing was still on ebay. I received an email from another bear artist that sent me a listing number and suggested that I check it out because she was pretty sure that it was a fraudulent listing and perhaps I would like to make a complaint to ebay. I checked the sellers other items and there were 10 bears listed which were all currently on ebay in the featured area. All that they had done was go down the list and copy them all and relist them under their own name. The next day the listings had been removed and two days later this same person had 10 - 12 designer purses for sale.
The one good thing that has come out of this is a lesson to be well aware of who you are buying from because it is such a "buyer beware" market place. The sad thing is none of us want someone to buy a bear, thinking that it is our listing and not even get the bear! I can't  think of worse advertizing.

I  had heard that a watermark could be removed by anyone who has the same program that the watermark was put on with, but if it is difficult to remove it would be worth a try. I am sure that these listing thieves aren't going to spend any more than they have to and probably wouldn't even try to remove a watermark. It would probably be proof enough for ebay to remove their listing.

Kim, that is what I was thinking about, because I have also tried to copy a picture that couldn't be copied.

Tammy, where do you see the "right click protected" option?

Recently I have had a couple of my listings copied. The pictures and the description of the bear were copied and put up for sale on ebay china by someone else.

When I notified ebay they said that they could not find any proof that the pictures and text were actually mine and therefore could not do anything about it. How do I go about proving that the pictures and the bear are actually mine and is there anyway to stop someone else from copying your pictures off of the internet?

Gina that is a great picture of you and your boys. They are both adorable and for some reason, you look a lot like I thought you would! I love 3 year old lingo and I think from now on I will be "snuffing" bears also   One of my favorite lines when my kids were small has to do with your home city of Kamloops, my daughter just loved to go for holidays in Fruitloops!

I don't think that I look like my bears but I do feel the same way that some of them feel.
I don't feel quite as wide eyed and innocent as Plum Puddin' any more, but at times I do like to be as silly as Snicker Doodle.
Like Dunston, there are days that I just love to lounge around and then there are days that I feel like and old troll!

My computer was down for a few days & then I was away for awhile, so I am really far behind in reading all of these posts, but I would love to join the swap!
After reading all the pages (4!!) my thoughts are: I would love to receive a bear or angel, or if I was lucky enough, a golly!!! from anyone, in any size!
