For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Thanks Millie!
Thanks Joanne!
This cute little mini bear was available on our website - I didn't get a chance to post her here before she sold, so I thought I'd show you all in the Showcase section. She's made from Schulte mohair that I hand-dyed.
This is a cute mini elephant that we created for a collector in Virginia....We are also working on a pink ellie and a pandaphant for her. Her daughter named this ellie Jingles, which is a sweet name I think.
Hugs,
Erin
Hi There :)
This is a cute custom bear that we finished a few days ago for a collector. I think he turned out so cheery!
Hugs,
Erin
This is a mini panda that we created for a collector in Indiana. This is the first time that we've used longer fur on a mini, and I think he turned out so cute. He doesn't have a name yet - and will have a partner in black/tan soon.
Hugs,
Erin
We finished this cute pair of bears last night for a collector in the UK. I think they turned out so cute! The larger rainbow panda bear is Diamond, and the mini bear is Opal.
Hugs,
Erin
Another cutie!!!
OK I just have to ask!
How do you keep your finger nails so nice while creating bears?! :)
Ha! It must just be a good angle! My nails are horrid and I don't bother doing them anymore since I do bears fulltime. My pinkie nail is just really long but the rest are short. I don't want to cut it as I'm so happy to have a long nail! lol
Thanks for your kind words everyone!

They are so cute Cyndee! We're only a few miles apart but all we have in our yard are lizards! lol!
Thanks so much for all of the lovely birthday and anniversary wishes the last few days! It was really nice to get so many emails, twitter messages and cards. Bear artists and collectors are so fantastic! Thanks again!
Hugs,
Erin
The topic of pet food drives me crazy. Luckily our very own Cyndee gave me a wonderful education about it, which I'm forever in her debt. It's horrid when you use a food and then they change it. I have diabetic cat that can only eat certain types of food.....and when I find a good one they always end up changing the formula. Pet food really needs to be regulated better.

Ah, now see, if I could figure that out I'd be killing two birds with one stone... very good idea, Erin!
Here you go:
Twitter is great b/c it's just 1 sentence, "what are you doing?, and that's it.....Nothing else. I walk by the computer and jot a little note to collectors, you guys, whomever, and then walk away. No uploading things, writing out long posts, approving friends or anything.... Just a short, sweet thing. I also have the code on my blog so it shows up there. That way if I don't blog for a few days our collectors will still know what we're doing.
The twitpic pics show up in your tweets....Not on your page.
I like twitter a lot too. It's so easy....just write one line of what you're doing and that's it.
I do use Facebook, but for personal things only. I've connected with tons of people from college and high school that way.
Twitter on the other hand is all bears, all the time!
Twitpic is really cool too - you can post pics to your twitter that way. I think I use the simple free downloadable program Twirl to do the pics.
Hi Marlys,
My husband paints all of our eyes. Thank you for your kind words, I'll tell Jack.
Hugs,
Erin
We will for sure!
That's really strange Paula. Even though we now even make mini's our 10" bears are still "small". Our 12"-15" are more medium and 18" and up are Large. I haven't been paying any attention to the URSA's as we don't enter competitions, but if I'd have seen that I'd question it also. That's not right to me.
I didn't load a background - I just chose one of their standard ones.
Cyndee - I just though of you - We were going to go to Old Town Temecula next week for my birthday (to get out and have some lunch and shop the antique stores).....I'm wondering if we should try OT Murrieta instead? I'll email you.
Thanks for voting and good luck in the giveaway!
