He is Gorgeous!!! Vicki
Hi gang! I'm fairly new to blogging too and I love it! Adding yours to mine... and my link is http://customteddys.blogspot.com or just click on the link below my avatar. This is Great!! Vicki
I was wondering what kind of sewing machines (those of you who use machines)other bear makers use. I have an old Singer Diana that I bought over 30 years ago. I can't tell you how many bears she has sewn together and is still going strong.
hats off to those good old machines

Thanks for the comments, Dances. And I'm so excited to have you, Sudey, as followers   . I hope to add more of you teddy lovers, too.
I have wondered myself if I should spend the time setting up a website in addition to my blogspot. And based on the information shared here, it sounds like I should spend the time. Thanks for all the shared wisdom!
Vicki
That sounds great! How can I subscribe to your mag? Vicki
Hi Dances! I think there is supposed to be a link where somone can click if they want to follow your blog. You can add it to your page by editing in the format section (I believe that's where it is). I would LOVE to follow your blog. I just don't know where to click to have that happen.
I just recently also started a blog. And it is a big stretch for me to put myself out there like this. If you check out my blog, you will see an area where it asks you to click if you want to follow this blog. And, as you can see there are no followers yet
So, if you like, you can add yourself to my blog by clicking on the part that asks you to be a follower, and I will do the same when you set up that part on yours.
This is fun stuff!!

Oh my goodness... is that a Havanese? Just darling
Hi Julia! I love your bear! And you'll be hooked for sure on making future bears. As I've learned, practice makes perfect and you're off to a great start!! Thanks for being brave enough to share    Vicki
Way CUTE!!!!!!!
When I was 15 years old we moved to Alaska from ND. My friend, Bob, gave me a small bundle of horse hair as a going away present! I finally found a use for it... whiskers!! And, the funny thing is, since I save everything, I still have the horse hair!! (that was in 1967) (do the math)
Thanks! Vicki
OK, I'm on facebook.... I don't get it either, but I'm going to figure out how to joint the teddy bear "artsist" group!!! Thanks...

I made this bear at my Mother's request for her "best friend forever" Yvonne. In their high school days, they wore rolled up blue jeans, letter sweaters and saddle shoes. She is 6" short and made from Sassy pile. Hope you like her. Mom's best friend did! Thank you!
This, to me, is just another one of those wonderful little teddy bear stories.... the kind people used to tell me when they would come to my teddy bear shop. Miracles happen in teddy bear world... Finley is an example of that.
P.S. Perhaps the postman could use a miracle of his own. Hugs, Vicki
When I "retired" from my State job two years ago, I couldn't believe how good I felt. I'm just now settling into my teddy bear world and joining you guys is part of that wonderful feeling ... I love my life! Congratulations to you Alison!!
