Lynette, I would love visiting you!
But the very first people from TT I would want to wpend time with are Julia (my sweet Russian friend) and Marie (my favourite Japanese friend). but once I would have enjoy time with them, I would take my luggages and go to visit every single person from this board, and spend a week with each of you (if you want to!!!). Cause i love you all so much! then i would invite you to come with me to Schulte fabric and we would buy a lot of mohair (we would have huge discount as a huge group of frenetic bear makers!!!)... this would be wonderful!
To be honnest, I would really want to chat more with you all. So to the ones who have Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenge: please join me when you want! I love so much having friends all over the world!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Brenda, i did not notice any gap. i have found Gracie in the category "Artists". She was there!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh, dear, these days, i am checking new posts every hum, 20 to 30 min... i just cannot more than a few min far from TT!!!! Oh dear, oh dear!
I generally look at the general discussin threads first. I often check who is logged in.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Ahhhhhh!, honey, you finally sent us pictures! thank you!
Are all these bears crochetted bears? For the bear with the green ears, it looks obvious, but what about the other two?
How big are they?
I am happy that the bear with green ears is back in your loving home. This woman did not desrve it! By the way, he is very sweet! What kind of wool did you use for them?
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Welcome to the board, Kitten!
This is a great place to chat! So many friendly people!
good luck with your teddy bear making,
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh, we can find marzipan in the Lidl shops, for sure!
But I have to be careful not to eat too much of it! i don't do my shopping in Lidl, so I am not tempted!!!
I generally avoid spending money in sweets and chocolate goodies... so I am not tempted!
If you had to pay me with marzipan only for one of my bears, I would get ill, for sure! My blood would be changed into sugar!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I can understand you are so happy Sabine! Matilda has done a wonderful job with these 'roos!
I am in awe!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I now feel guilty... . I am just eating my last Ritter Sport Chocolate while, you, poor darlings are struggling not to eat chocolate. I am devil! Please forgive me!
Oh, dear, I don't have any Ritter Sport chocolate left... that is another empty bag... Well, at least I cannot eat more of them! Next week, i will have to spend more time at the gym!
I was supposed to go today, but my left knee is still painful because of tendinitis (i am bored of this problem with my knee). I will have to be careful next week: I am rather doing aqua-gym instead of my favourite lessons (in many of my favourite lessons some exercises are very bad for my knee). Life is unfair.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I was busy writting posts on this forum while eating yummy marzipan sweets from Germany, when I suddenly realised the pack was empty! Disaster, catastroph! Hum, the pack was definitely too small: only 125 g in it (1/4 lb)!!!!
I now have to wait until next Christmas to get new ones! I get them from Malko's grandpa.
Well, I should compensate with chocolates... where are these chocolate boxes? .... ah, here they are! My stock is getting smaller and smaller, what a pity!!!!
Oh, I am not reasonable!
I miss marzipan sweets...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
PS: for sure, it would be stupid to stop eating chocolates as lon as there are still some in the boxes...
but I promise I will stop once the boxes are empty!!!!
Melissa, I love your idea as well as your bears... So i would fancy hosting the bear. The only thing is that if the day I will host I am still unemployed I will prefer to send him in France or in a European country to avoid me paying too much for postage...
By the way, my favourite bear is "My true North"!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear Brigid,
A warm welcome on our forum! I hope you will enjoy chatting with us and share a lot of things with us.
As a British artist, you may already know Bear Country UK... http://www.bearcountryuk.com/
They sell short pile German plush, but I don't know if this is Schulte or not...
I use to buy most of my teddy bear making materials there and am very happy of them. They are fast to send materials.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh dear, juges will have a hard task! so many great bears!
I don't manage to decide which ones I prefer among the ones shown in the showcase thread!!!
By the way, is there any website when we can see all the entries and the artists participating?
I am so proud of you all!
and so happy to have so great friends!!!

so a big hurrrrah for all participants and their bears!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Actually, we don't have that much rain, and when we have some, it is light rain. so we still need more water too. Lots of places in France did not have enough rain that year and are dreading next summer...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Cheeky Ann re-edited her previous post to say she has finally received Arsène. I am so releived!
I wonder why it took so long for Arsène to arrive in Ottawa!
I posted him the 23rd of December and Ann received it yesterday, so the 11th of January. Did he visit all USA and Canada before? I really wonder! I payed for a priority mail via air mail! That gives you an idea about how priorities are taken in account in postal services...
So the next time I will have to post a bear, I am rather telling the recipient that it may take ages to arrive even if considered as pririty mail!!!
Ann, did you really find the bell? So you should have noticed it is in one ear! (Actually, I don't remember if I put one in each ear only one in one ear!!!).
The initials on Arsène's tag are mine! Ann, I hope you have found the certificates I made! didn't I write on the certificate these details??? I should check it out!!!
Concerning his name... I find that this bear looks like a bandit because of his eyes . When I asked Malko to help him to find a name for this bear, he finally ended up proposing Arsène (after Arsène Lupin, the gentlman burglar of Maurice Blanc'books).
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Kathy, i guess these are minis!
So that is not bad for minis. I love Trapper!
Any idea what Grayce is thinking about?
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Sandy, here we did not have any snow at all!
I don't even have snow to trade!
Only humidity...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Kathy, i accept your offer.
Nancy, we use energy saving lights in the flat, because bills are so expensive! i am not sure that the lights you are talking about are cheap and energy saving! but thanks for sharing some sun with me!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh, dear! Who have stolen the sun????
Clouds, clouds, clouds, everywhere clouds. I haven't seen the colour of the sky or the sun for many days now...
I begin to feel depressed.
On a sunny day my flat is not very lighty, but on cloudy days, it is soooo dark all the day. i need to switch on a light to sew or read.
When I am ouside it is even more depressing: humid and cloudy.
Could you send me some sun please?
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I just looooooooooooooove Posy! Such a sweetie! I whish I had a Posy in my collection!!!!
You are a fairy!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
So cuuuuuuuuuuute!
His colour is gorgeous! I recently bought a shorter curly mohair at Bearcountry UK about the same colour, but I have not made a bear with it yet! Such a beautiful colour!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
