Hi all,

   I thought I would have a blog give away. This is going to be a little differnt. It is kind of a race give away.
I have 6 polymer clay Valentines day dog breed pins I made which I have now retired. The object of the give away is to be the first person to leave a comment on my blog to request which dog pin of your choice you would like as a free give away (only one please per person). That's it!!! Just be the first person to leave a comment and there choice of which dog breed pin you would like to have. You just have to be quick.

Another new bear to start the new year.

Please met Harley. He is also my new larger bear. He is made from a off white with brown guard hairs faux fur.

Another new bear for 2010. I am so tried of all of the snow we are getting here in the midwest ( another 3" yesterday and more for the middle of this week) so I decided I needed a little spring time.

Please met April. She is my new larger bear for this year. She is 16" in height and is made with a creamy buttery yellow faux fur.

She will be posted on ebay later this evening.

Hi all,
  I live in Kansas City Missouri and we were not so lucky. I think I have received about 8 inches of snow yesterday and we are supposed to get another 2 inches today. It is also pretty cold around 20 degress.

But all is still well.

He is made from Antique Curry 3/4" medium density mohair w/curly s-finish.

Susan - I know about doubting my work. So it is good to know that our bears are not the issue. I think advertising is the big thing. You might give ebay a try and Bearpile. Your bears are really cute.
I too hope that 2010 picks up for everyone.

HI all,

  I had some wonderful advise from my last post. So I have implemented a few things on my website.

I have spent most of the day today updating my website.    My mailing list sign up is up and running.

Now it is time to go update my blog.

Then tomorrow is time for making bears.

please let me know if you see anything strange on my website. I checked it before up loading but you never know what I might have missed. If anyone wants to exchange links please let me know.

Thank you all very much for your help. You have given me all wonderful ideas.

I am working on my website to add the mailing list service now.

I will have to try a show next year. The only Bear show we have here in Kansas City Missouri was in October. Most of are craft shows are in early fall so I missed them all this year too. Well check into them for next year.  I will also check in with my local community center to see if they offer any type of workshops for bear making to see if I could teach a class.

I will keep going. I love creating my little ones.

Hi all,

  I know things are slow out there on selling bears and times are hard, but I am in need of some advise on selling more of my bears.

I have bears listed on Etsy, my website, Artfire and I list on Ebay. What more can I do? Is it the Bears themselves????? Would a online show on website be a good idea?
All suggestions accepted.

This is a new pattern that I created for this special one.

Her name is Sea Breeze. Her colors remind me of the pretty green sea with blue sky and white waves gently rolling on the beach.

I know makes you want to go some where warm. It has been cold and snowing here in Missouri today.
