this is my two cents....
Definitely an english teddy bear (because the arms are sort of short). Could be a pedigree. He could be a chiltern, although he doesn't look like a chiltern but that could be because it looks like its nose, as well as his paws have been recovered over the years. maybe a Merrythought? I would have to see pictures from different angles. is there any claw stitching? Is there any cardboard in the bottom of his feet? very cute though! I love english teds.

I have to say, this little bear is the most amazing little thing!!! I don't know how you do this work! The more I look at them, the more in awe of you I am!! The detail in the sweater is fabulous! Such detail!!! The tiny little threads! Wow, i am sooo pleased!

What a bummer! I'm so sorry to hear that! Your little dog is beautiful!! I'm sure you can sell him easily! 
The only suggestion I would make, along with a deposit, please make sure the order is in writing spelling everything out -- not only break down the cost, but indicate the time for delivery as well, so an email to the customer and a confirmation from the customer can only be helpful, so there isn't a surprise for anyone!
