Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

That is one cute little chihuahua Lynette-your other dog is lovely too.Chihuahuas are little dogs but always seem to think that they are bigger than they really are and will bark at anything with no fear.
As we have a few Dobie fans I thought I would post a piccie of Sweep my five year old.He is a big softie as you can see in the picture.

I guess that if money were no object I would love to own one of the large portobello bears but as for choosing others to add to my list it is a good job that the money is not there as my list would be endless from all the tt bears and many others I have seen too.The more I think about it the more my list gets longer....and longer...

I would also like to find out about fairs for next year-has anyone been to the show at the hilton hotel  in York in May.I am not sure if this is a new venue or not.I am like you Jane as if I do decide to exhibit I need to choose a venue that is well run and well attended.The distance I would have to travel is a factor too as we don't seem to have anything anywhere near us in Norfolk.

I had to laugh Mindy when I saw your tree as my two balinese cats won't leave my tree ornaments alone and my tree looks like yours and by the time xmas is here theres not a lot left on it.There are more ornaments on the floor than any where else

We had lovely weather in Norfolk today-a little bit breezy but the sky was clear blue without a cloud in the sky.It was lovely for walking the dogs.

Sometimes I don't think it matters what you do as e bay just seems to have no consistency.I sold quite a few bears mid sep to mid nov and then all of a sudden I haven't sold the last three or four and it is like you said that you think you have made one of your best bears and it doesn't seem to matter.It can be very disheartening but the only thing you can do is to hang in there and hope that the sales pick up again-mind you you would think that xmas would be your best time.I am just using this slow time to try out new things that I haven't had the time to do.

I completely hand sew mine from start to finish and I am a bit of a slow worker.I work on the bears a few hours in the afternoon and sew them up during the evening.Mind you I am lucky if I finish one in a week on a 15-17 inch bear.I can't be rushed as it would take the fun out of making them.
