Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Looks great! How luchy you were and the same for your bear! Be taken in photo with a Mayor! For sure, Toddington will never forget and have so much to tell to his beary friends!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
We cannot see it in France before the 30th of november!!!! I am not even sure I will come to see it unless we can see it in our little town for cheaper than in Le Mans... I will have to be patient.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
PS: did you read the last book about Harry Potter stories? I did and dear, how black was the story!!! i really wonder what can happen in the next book...
How sad to loose a dearest pet!! I am so sorry you lost your dog! Life is so unfair !
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Ah suzanne, you're so right about how usefull can be the sewing machine. I too used to hand sew my bears entirelly. But as you said: it is so long... I bought recently a sewing machine and i am so happy with it!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I have to confess that I don't like rusty accessories at all... Why put "old" accessories on new bears? If I happen to get a bear with rusty accessory, for sure, I will do my best to make the guilty accessory shiny again... :teddybear:
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Noooo, it cannot be possible!!! Time is running too much. Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase, stop it! We need a time break! too much bear to finish before Christmas!
Mmmmmm, yes, the question should be: why do I spend so much time on this forum while I could be busy sewing?
Maybe you've got the answer...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hot Christmas would be strange. Where I live in France, We never have snow at Christmas time, but instead we have storms and cold weather. Not great.
I only remember ONE Christmas with snow in my childhood in Brittany.
These days, the weather is getting colder, and twice we had ice in the morning. It is dark at 5 pm. not really exciting.
So, those with warm weather will be invited to send us a lot of warm posts!!!
Pipa, i would not like to experience so horrible pain... But be brave! I am sure you will soon be blessing your Doctor as you will be totally healed... a bit of patience (I know, easy to say..., sorry).
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Great bear, Patsy! I am not surprised you sold it! Who could resist him?
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Finally, oats are as tasty as wheat semolina when they are good quality! My porridge is delicious! Maybe i should hide it to get sure my sweetheart won't finish it before I have time to eat more :P!!!
Yummy yummy!
Well, i should be careful, though, not to take back the weigh I managed to loose these last months... but has anyone ever said that chocolate or porridge could be bad for our health
? I don't think so. Good food cannot be bad for us, as true as good is the contrary of bad
.
So let's eat MORE CHOCOLATE (well, sandi, there must be something you must like at least as much as we are crazy about chocolate!)! Why should we feel guilty after all. I was hungry, so I hate chocolate porridge...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
You clever girl, Kathy! What a great idea to use these containers! so much better to have them free!!!
Concerning shipping costs, I had a look from France to foreign countries, and here too prices are very high (same kind of prices). That is the painful part to have the bears posted. I have not post any so far but will have to post the bear for AnnG when he's ready and some bears from Asiactic friends when I get them ready. It will cost me a lot, but this is life. At least, we all have similar shipping costs, so no jealous!!! :P. Finger crossed that I can get insurance on the cheaper way of shipping... Other ways are so expensive!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Very nice of you to ask us about your signature.
I don't feel offended myself eventhough I do eat meat. I think everyone is free to decide what way of life to follow... If your choice is to be a veggie, this is your choice and I respect it... Actually, I would not kill animals myself even in order to eat them: I could not bear the poor animal's pain... Don't try to find where my logic is!!! Strangely, i have never managed to eat horse meat as I love horses so much, but cows, lambs, pigs, chikens and rabbits are lovely too... But I have been used to such a way of life and just don't like the idea of stopping eating meat :/.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Sandi, we cannot all have the same tastes!!!
Talking about chocolates things, I have just prepared some chocolate porridge with some oats I have just bought at the bio cooperative. Of course I added my favourite chocolate powder. It looks yummy but I have to wait a moment to have it a little less hot!!! Yesterday evening, my sweetheart had for dessert a huge bowl of chocolate porridge (he used almost 1 L of milk!!!). So he finished our stock of oats... :(.
Actually, I do prefer replacing oats with wheat semolina... and I often add a bit of vanilla flavour.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
PS: Very kind of you girls to give recipes!!!
Ah, Suzanne, this will be a great event, I am sure! finger crossed your bears will be successful!
There is no reason they would not, after all!!!
Did you think about story to imagine to go with your bears? people like bears with stories about them!
i am impressed you made so many bears in a so short time! Do you have a sewing machine???
I agree with the idea of taking photos with your regular camera and ask to have the photos on a CD.
Whatever, let us know how it was!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I don't like Cadbury chocolate! French chocolate is much tasty (sorry to disappoint you about that). We've got lots of choice there: Nestlé, Poulain... I love too Swiss cholcolate Lindt. Of course, Belgian chocolate is definitely the best ever...
The Cadbury chocolate i have tried in England had far too much sugar :(...
Impossible to find good chocolate when I was in England. They did not even had my favourite chocolate powder "Poulain Grand Arome" I drink every morning with my milk. So i had to bring it from France.
Almost all the chocolate powders I found in England were already containing some powdery milk and always too much sugar. They had Nesquick but this was not my favourite (again too much sugar). Not any good enough. So disappointing.
Out of food, I loved England...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Glad to read I haven't been the same not knowing about PM... I thought ewactly like you, Melissa, until the day I clicked on "you have new messages" and found a few old messages from Marie...
So I quickly apologised to her...
Hey, girls, you're beautiful, that's what's the most important! Who cares if some guys ennoy you with stupid jokes about blondes??? :P
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
You're right, Dilu....
I myself feel more often depressed with so short days. So each time I feel depressed, I rush to our dear forum where I always find the comfort I need.
I try to check what I have written before submitting, but sometimes I miss some mistakes... The other day, I had messed up the name of someone I was whishing happy birthday... with the name of someone else; by chance, I saw it right after I had submitted my post. So i quickly changed the name...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh dear, I fell in love for your bears, Judi!
If you accept, I'd love to swap bears with you some day (if you like my bears too...).
Your bears have got so cute faces!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
One of a kind???? Great to know... I was thinking it was related to copyright or something like that...
:P
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Glad Louise is OK.
Please, congratulates her for me!!!
I am so happy you are the proud grandma of a lovely girl!!!

Sophie.
baby girl or baby boy? That is the question...
Just hope everything is going well for the mother and baby and that the father will be happy!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Shelli, beleive me or not, I don't think your first bear was bad! He looks so shy!
Well, here is mine, from a Laurence Veron pattern. I have added a few personal features.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Thanks your the trick, Dilu!
My inbox is not full yet, as I discovered its existence only yesterday... with a few nice e-mails from Marie waiting for me.... So I had to explain her I had not found them before yesterday!!!
Do you still think people will laugh at you, Dilu????
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
