She is lovely Debbie.It is nice when you have them from a youngster as they get to know and trust you from an early age.I have a highland pony and she is 26 now and I have had her from the age of one.She is a grumpy so and so but I am used to it I also have a shetland and I had her from a year and she is now 16 she is lovely too-she likes to escape from fields though and has been known to pull out the electric fencing posts with her teeth-caught her out one day!I have loaded a piccie of the shetland.Notice that she has a small door so she can see out when she is stabled

Amelia-it won't be Maureen from maws paws bears as it looks like she could have just been caught up in the scam or is just trying to warn people.She makes lovely bears and shows at Hugglets and has a 3 page spread on her work in teddy bear times this month.

I think that she definately looks girlie Paula and I love her big sparkly eyes.The vast majority of bears I make seem to end up as boy bears.I never even realised this until I spoke to someone who runs a bear shop and he mentioned this and I hadn't even noticed.Maybe I am influenced by my five sons without realising it.

I think if I was making her I would have fur in the ears as it looks a bit too harsh with no fur but trim it fairly short as cats don't really have any fur in their ears.Maybe thats why she looks great from the back as she has the fur that side.I think the size looks ok too.Apart from that  she is great

I choose all my own presents nowadays as I got fed up with too many wrong choices-not that I am ungrateful but at least you know that if you choose it yourself you can't go wrong.I have never got a present yet that I chose myself and didn't like. :crackup:

I just had a look Gemma-she is a lovely little bear.I love her colour and her nose.That is your present sorted out from father christmas now all you need to do is find Stu a nice bear for xmas too :crackup:
I feel like a little kid at xmas when I go to these bear shows and see all the lovely bears and supplies there-can't wait until the next Hugglets :dance:

I found last year that I sold quite a few bears from September to end of October and then it seemed to slow right up the nearer it got to Xmas when you think that your sales should be at their best.I agree with Tammy that collectors are out buying xmas presents and not spending money on themselves but you would think that there are plenty of people that would be buying them for presents.We try not take it to heart when a bear does not sell but then I know if I had a lot more money I would buy more bears than I do now and there are probably a lot of people in the same position.I think that when sales are slow it is a good time to try out new things the only thing is I need to sell a few bears so I can do my own xmas shopping.
