I know I know I have not been around much lately. Lots going on around here. Husband got laid off his job so that means I need to pick up the pace a bit.    Plus I had planned to go to Ca. to see our kids. Really looking forward to that...

Well I am just overwhelmed with all of the help from everyone.  :clap: It is very hard for me to ask for help but when I was close to tears yesterday I thought ok lets see what I can find out on TT.

Jane thanks so much for the great tutorial. And Randy for the great common sense way to explain it all. I am wanting to take some time to just play and see what I can do. It has always been hard for me to grasp the technical stuff.  I am hoping to be able to do some of this so I don't have to pay someone else to do it.  I will be printing out all of this for reference.

Better go for now and get some housework done. One thing I can do.  :crackup:

Ok either I am extremly stupid or this program is just to hard for me. !!!! Tami Lahey has helped me so much trying to answer some of my questions and I have figured out most of what I needed to for what I am trying to do but this one thing I just can't seem to figure out. It is probably something very easy.  :doh:

What I am trying to do is erase around a bear and put it on another page and make a grouping. Sounds easy enough right????
Well I did erase all around the bear but when I go to put it onto another page or layer I can't seem to get it from one page to the other. Am I making sense?
If there is anyone out there that can help I would really appreciate it..

Well I do have a Mac computer. It is a desktop and I got it about five or six years ago. I am not sure what to tell you because I use my Dell most of the time. I have a Dell laptop and really like it. There are some things that the Mac does that I like better but for me it seems as though the programs that I am used to working with on the PC are not compatable on the Mac. And also I don't like the way you save things on the Mac.  :doh:  really confuses me. So sorry I could not help much. There is one thing that I heard that you can do is get a program for the Mac that makes it PC compatable.
Maybe the lesson will help. Don't give up..

Karen I know how frustrated you are. I was just telling my husband, why spend the extra money to put in the featured section to be put on the next pages.    This is just crazy !!! I did go in and check my dashboard and was also very surprised. I have a 100% rating and never a problem. They are really messed up....Also I really don't understand that artist Karen De Lorenzo with her wonderful panda bear has been on the first page from the start. I must be missing something.

I agree totally with Jenny. I think you just have to so NO sometimes otherwise it takes all of the fun out of the creating process. I will take orders from time to time but it is to much pressure to get the same look of something that they had seen months ago.
I have not done a show in probably three years now. I do miss the people but not the expense of it all and the work !!!. I seem to keep busy enough just doing Ebay and my web site.
And wholesale...Eeeks I just don't like putting in all of that work and having to give a discount.

Hello Everyone,
Well I don't know if it's just me but I just can't seem to figure out how Ebay decides how to rotate clients on the Featured Page of the Bears and Dolls Artist Section Page. I have noticed just in the last few days that a couple of people seem to be at the top of the page for days at a time. This is so strange to me. Anyone else noticed ?

Thanks Jenny that is exactly what I am looking for also. I used to get from Edinburgh but have not seen what I am looking for and it is almost the same price as mohair. I will keep trying. Maybe I can find a cool coat.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has come across any really soft and quality faux fur recently. I have not had to order fur in some time now and I have a customer that wants a very large baby bear in synthetic fur. I know of Edinburgh but I thought that I would see if I could find some other companies as well.

Well I got the call yesterday and just now got back in touch with Andrea. I was very surprised to get a nod from TBR as well as TBF magazine for my Dixie bear (dressed under 14" catagory) All I can say is WOW !!!!! I did not expect this..... :redface:
