No, I've always wished that I had bought him...

Jessie, there used to be a gift shop here that sold Boyds bears and other stuffies.  I remember seeing that guy and thought he was so cute!

What a good idea Jessie...I like to see where all the bears travel!

She is two feet tall.  Her Mama just loved her.  I am very happy.  I like my bears to be loved.  She had never had a bear before in her life.  She said she had hugged a bigger girls bear once when she was little.

I finally stayed out of the hospital long enough to finish my Jewel...she will go home tomorrow!

I love these tush tag stories...guess I will not use those!
Now, my daughter had her husband take their Part pit bull to the doggie park to do his business.  Well, he finally assumed the position and did some kind of business al righty.  Out came my daughters bikini, red, lace underware!  Yes, there were lots of people watching that production and said husband did not wait to see if there was anymore "business"...he ran home with his face as red as the bikini underware!

Thanks gals...yes, I have used a felt template nose and stuffed it.  I think perhaps the glue is the clue plus putting stitches horzontal first then vertical.

I am working on a 24" bear with a stuffed nose.  I thought a nice big stuffed nose would be so cute on her.  OK, my question is, how on earth do you keep the threads from falling down the sides of the nose and piling up at the edge?  I am going crazy here and she is due tomorrow at her new home!!!

I would love to own a Hermann bear...I have bid on a few Charlie bears but have not won one yet.  Jessie, you would love the Charlie bears!  Yep, if a bear speaks to me and I can afford him...he is mine!  Doesn't matter his "credentials"...

If a bear apeals to me it doesn't matter if it is "collectable" or not!  I do have dome of the "Beanie Baby" bears that my mother gave to me and my two year old grandson ripped all the tags off for me...he was so proud!  I treasure them because of who they are not because of what they are or are not worth!

I object! ...not really, I think it is a good idea.  I just wanted to be different.  Guess it is the mood I'm in waiting to go to the hospital again!!!
I even like the cood idea...a combination of good and cool!

I use about 30 pins in each piece to keep all that fur tucked in.  Some pieces I then baste and I still get stuck frequently but it works great!

He looks wonderful and so happy to be home!

I agree...I think I have a tag phobia!  All my tags come right off.  I don't think the bear feels like you are going to keep him unless the tag comes off.  They can be stored in a folder with plastic pockets for future refrence.

I think just a stitch of pearle cotton will do the trick!

Sue, the bears are wonderful and they do belong together.  I do hope no one separates them, they would be so sad!

I hope someone makes a Spectacled Bear.  They are so cute!

I feel so bad for all the people looking for jobs...it is a hard economy and not many jobs out there!
